​@rahulahmedabad, yes you can, there is no restrictions in applying any amount from minor account, but make sure that if enquired you can show the funds come from a legitimate source.

I am regularly applying BHNI in my minor's account and got Jyoti CNC and Vodafone FPO allotment.

​@mohsri ICICI allows minor account, yes you cannot trade, but only self allotted IPO's/gifted shares.

Can we sell IPO allotted shares from minor account or that is not possible.
In that case what we have to do with IPO allotted shares in minor account.

​@mohsri Kotak , icici , hdfc and some other bank allow minor account.
Open demat account with prostock which allow to buy/ sell of stock as well as ipo allotted share you can sell in minor account.

1. Yes, people do get SME IPO allotment..
2. Yes you can, if the buyers are available, you can even sell in pre open..
3. Contact your local broker, he might know a few GM dealers..else our own CG site has GMP link at the top of every IPO page..

Since you're new to IPO avoid SME ipo at all cost. GMP is speculative and not a confirmed number. There are many IPOs which listed way below the GMP number as well above the GMP. You can sell SME on listing day but if there are no buyers on listing day or following days the stock starts going down and you cannot exit stock even if you're selling in loss. Better stick to Mainboard for few months and observe the listing day movement of all SME listings both good n bad to understand how they move on listing days and other days before stepping into SME IPO.

​@GlitchTx I have got allotments in Canara Bank ASBA & UPI.
I still use Canara Bank for few retails accounts and shifted HNI's to ICICI with linked FD's. (ICICI has also got allotments)
I feel its luck mostly.

I have allotments from various banks almost equally..

​@GlitchTx It is just a myth that application through ASBA is preferred from some banks and ignored from others as far as allotment process is concerned.
Keep applying, you never know when the ladyluck will shine upon.

I used Baroda internet banking and BOB World app for ipo use and got allotment and linked FD amount use for ipo.

Canara I use only for retail apps.
SBI i used b4, not now, same no linked FD, cutoff time is less, sometimes slow in unblocking.
So I shifted HNI's to ICICI, which has linkedFD

Canara bank asba me to aise aise allotment mile hai ki pucho hi mat,
I think canara bank is far better than SBI

For canara bank, You can avail loan against deposit option for your Fd, you will get 75 % loan instantly through Net banking or Ai1 App. You can use that amount during Ipo and close the fixed deposit if not alloted instantly. I have done that multiple times and have been allotted too in Bhni category.
