I HAVE BY MISTAKE WRITTEN WRONG DP ID IN ECOS IPO.
APPLICATION IS FOR 616 SHARES IN BHNI CATEGORY.SO IT CAN'T BE CANCELLED .IF I MODIFY IT I CAN'T CHANGE THE DP ID.I CAN ONLY CHANGE THE NO.OF SHARES.HOW TO GET CORRECTED.

Double application you dont get anything

When we dp id is mistakenly wrong and vot alloment for that nunber and debited money from your account
Then
You mail to register immediatly
Debited amount for which dpid mistenly entered and your dpid and from which bank account and all they ask all the thinks
They reslove the matter.
Allotment shares are going to credit into your accounts

hypothetically speaking there is a chance that , the wrong dp id which we entered may belong to some other person... but i believe if the registrar checks the PAN with the DP id , automatically it will be rejected .... but as @Paymzia sir mentioned , its better to apply one more retail to cancel ...

again if by chance it gets wrongly allotted , it will be painful process to you , to prove that money is urs , account is others ... but always there will be way to get back but that will be painful and time consuming ...

Your application will get rejected, under third party application. No need to worry about amount getting debited and someone else getting the allotment.

I applied for overdraft on my FD. I can see increased balance in my account balance 5ab but when i try to apply IPO, i get error: insufficient balance. 🤔

@Stock Market not possible to apply BHNI via UPI only SHNI. You have another option transfer 10 lakh to another SB or Current account then apply via net banking. Whether u have any other bank account?

Off topic: please advice ...is it worthfile to purchase 1 share of bajaj finserve/ bajaj housing finance for upcoming ipo og BHF considering the fact that so many people have already purchased 1 share...and subsciption in SH Category may surpass everything else...i guess today is the last day as heard from sources that DRHP is going to be filed on Monday.

@IPO Investor Delhi Yes, why not - it makes sense. Though it should have been procured few days back. Bajaj Twins in about two to three weeks have appreciated over 12%.
Also having SH eligibility allows you to play with two lottery tickets in place of one. And who knows, it turns out to be your lucky day. 🤞

@Confuse If you have selected HNI and proper qty (3036) and price(334), there should not be any issues. Relogin and try again.
