Not sure if you are referring to the issue with Upstox. But let me clarify, my issue is genuine and i have raised a complaint in SCORES as well.
The idea behind highlighting here is to seek opinions from others who might have faced the same issue earlier. And at the same time to inform others that this issue might happen with them in future.

Jab aapke sat hoga tab aapko pata chalega. Apni email I'd do me apne contracts note send karunga unhe dekhkar aapko pata chalega ki propaganda hai ya real me issue hai..

If you are talking about Upstox than m not with you. In last one month or two months upstox have created contract note for short selling for those who sold there SME allotment shares on listing day. I am the victim though I got my amount back. But this kind of negligence is intolerable.

you can search from either Karvy or CDSL site for your CKYC.

Checking on Karvy or CDSL site doesn't give you the CKYC Number ... it just shows you the status.

I once accidently got my full CKYC data (entire pdf with photo ) when I was doing my KYC for Mobikwik Wallet ... don't know if that system still works or if you are interested in going down that path.

Another option I could think of is visiting a Karvy centre where they do CKYC updates , and if they don't give you the KYC details, update with fresh photo ... maybe then they give you an acknowledgment with your CKYC number.

Please ask your bank to provide you the ckyc no. They file it when you open bank account.

Please check your registered email inbox. You had received one mail for kyc with subject "Kyc Acknowledgement Letter" after few days of demat opening.
In the letter attached you may get the ckyc details.

Asian Paints & Berger Paints are mentioned as clients in the prospectus. I believe all the paint companies are their clients along with Ink manufacturer like Toyo

Looking good wait until 6(last day of chaman) so the picture gets clearer.Good size good financials now wait for its demand in grey.

Still lot of time left to decide though at first sight it seems to be interesting - new sector, good financials.

You are in every ipo page. Do you remember me?

If your shares were not taken delivery of, then the buyer should have to be penalized. Don't understand how they charged you for it. Do speak to someone from Upstox

If shares allotted in IPO wer credited in your demat account on the day of selling, you send a complaint email to upstox.
If your complaint is not resolved, lodge a complaint wit SEBI (under SCORES) with demat holding statement, email sent to upstox.
I am sure if shares were credited in your demat account on the date of listing, it can't be treated as short sell and as a result, you will get back debited amount.

First make sure that Your IPO is ALLOTTED to You.
Second Make sure IPO is allotted in SAME DEMAT from which you sold. It is possible that you have more than one demat account and your share allocated on another demat.
Then, you should complain first to Upstox and secondly to SEBI

if you had no shares in demat then how did Upstok allowed you to place sell order??

Well not sure what happened ... but maybe there was some technical error on broker platform side due to which this delivery did not went through... and as per rules seller is penalized.. but in this case since it is online platform which normally don't allow short selling.. so it must be platform error... contact broker customer care and if you dont get result then you should try to complaint about it...

Check with your trading account statement , fund balance .
Most likely you might have got the fund , Contact with the broker to get more details.

It is really heartbreaking to hear this,lodge a complaint with broker and sebi.

Samething happen with me in upstox. I sold uma converter 4000 share in pre open @34.25 and day they purchase again this 4000 share in my account @39.78 and give loss of 23000 rupees I think it happen due to upstox edish authorise failure.i talk to there customer care but nothing solution there.i think upstox is cheater broker please never belive on him.even I sell same share in zeroda on same day and in preopen.no problem there

so many members facing issues with upstox

losing there HARE EARNED MONEY

what the hell is Upstox customer care is doing?

not even helping customers who lost money just bcz of upstox technical error

i feel sorry for u guys(we can't do anything except feeling sorry)

Same thing has happened to me. On listing day, I sold 1600 @ 121 but Upstox shows a purchase @ 157.5 resulting in a loss of around Rs. 60,000 which ideally should have been a profit of Rs. 50,000. his was not even in pre-open.

Tried their customer support multiple times, but the are giving standard answers, as if reading out from a manual.

Finally i have raised complaint in SCORES.

I had the shares in my Demat account before selling.

And from where are they getting this figure of purchase price of 157.5. All time high of share is around 135.

Upstox behaving like sophisticated thieves.

I was about to open another Demat account with relatives name only for applying IPOs in Upstox. After reading these comments, i will open in Zerodha

Are all issues when we try to sell in preopen in upsrox? Is there any issue if anyone tried to sell after 10 am?

I had placed the sell order around 10:10 on the listing day.

Ohh. I recently opened account with upstox as AngelOne does not allow to sell SME shares through app/web. I think switching to zerodha will be better.

Is the issue due to market order? Did anyone face above issue with limit order too?

i also faced the same issue in case of Arihant Sme (first time allotted any sme ipo)
Issue : As per upstock we need to do after trade authentication via T-pin
if we did not do authentication they will auction holdings among members of exchange (i.e. stock brokers)
it indirectly means because of this issue brokers are directly making 20% money and this is charge to clients as penalty fees.
i had approximately 50000/- loss due to this issue.
previously i thought it was only my mistake that i am not aware of this and didn't upstock remind us by any call from customer care. but after seeing the above comments i can believe they are doing this deliberately.

please advise, if together we can file complain against this issue.

also how to request sebi so we can also participate in auction sale (why stock brokers can only make money for no reason from retail investors)

discount brokers is myth..... upstock charge me almost 50k for single trade.
