Dear seniors, I need a favour of clearing my doubt on pre-open sell. Say, If I put sell order of 60 and ipo get listed at 70, then my order will be executed at 60 or 70?
Pankaj Ji, In pre-open if your selling price is less than the listing price (as in the case you asked) then your order will be executed at the listing price (i.e. on ₹ 70). The reverse is true for buying in pre-open so if you want to buy the share at ₹ 80 and it lists on ₹ 70 then you will get the script on ₹ 70.
Hope this clear your doubts.

I agree with it, never ever set low price or a price which unreasonable to entire IPO traders. It will impact all of use and create negative sentiment across the market.
between 9 am to 9.45 am on listing day, just place the limit sell order at maybe 55 or 60 rs.....at 9.45 your order will be executed at the listing price if it is above 60 rs.

For selling the pre order session works like below mentioned way. Set product to longterm, set type to limit(it is must).
Example if you set limit to 60 any order execution will be done if it lists above 60.whether th stock settles above 60/65/70(any 60+)your order will get executed. set order before 9:43,order execution is done at/after 9.44.Though order exceution time is 9:45am to 10:00am Hope it helps.
