Advice requested from seniors and experienced people:
1. Does a 10-12 lac application in this kind of SME IPO (where HNI 15%, Retail 35%) make sense? Does it improve the probability of allotment compared to a single lot Retail application?
2. Need help with setting up IPO application using UPI. Is there any step-by-step guide on CG or elsewhere on the net? Not able to set it up :-/

@AAvi sir that means 20Lakh application will have higher chances compared to 10L with respect to 16 applications on 20Lakh category

@Antany This applies only to SME IPOs, and there's no sHNI and bHNI in SME IPOs.
For mainboard, 10L or 20L application won't make any difference. Same way a 2L or 9.xx L application won't make any difference under sHNI.

Dear Experts - Could you please guide me whether I should put my money in Drone Destination or Kaka?

Both are equally good. You can go for anyone out of the two or divide your money equally between both.

I examine this initial public offering (IPO) from two primary perspectives: Firstly, the needs of the company, which they have clearly outlined in their offer letter/proposal. Secondly, and most importantly, the POTENTIAL, DESIRE, CURRENT ORDERS, and the future of both the PRODUCT and the company itself. I observe that they have FAVORABLE orders from Government and Semi-Government sectors, as well as some private participants. Given its evident goals, one can either directly apply for the IPO or wait for it to be listed and purchase shares afterwards. I expect a fall in price after listing.

Key Points of Drone Destination:(Investor Meeting held at Rajkot on 3rd July):

1. Drone Destination (DD) is fully into DaaS. (Drone as a service)

2. Hubblefly Technologies (an independent subsidiary) manufactures the drone, but they are not commercial drones. Some drones with DD buys from them are for some experimental purpose.

3. Drone as a service has huge applications. Drone in area mapping, spray in the agricultural sector, land mapping, precision agriculture (using image processing), surveillance and monitoring, and many more.

4. DD has currently many ongoing projects. One such is a government contract about surveying villages for land records in North & South Gujarat.

5. DD is fully focusing on opening training centers and training drone pilots. (One needs a license to us pilot to use commercial drones)

6. DaaS has a future in sports as well. The interesting part, one can operate the drone from India in the USA or any other country.

7. Main point, DD is qualified for SWAMITVA Yojana for government projects. The company is approved by the DCGA (Directorate General of Civil Aviation) for training people & opening schools.

8. Had words with CEO Chirag Sharma, a young and dynamic personality. Management is dynamic and bullish on the growing drone industry.

9. Peers: MD said Idea Forge is mainly into manufacturing only so they are not a competitor. Dronacharya is the only listed peer.

10. About sector: About to grow with rates of 35% CAGR for the next 5-6 years atleast.

11. Reputed clients: IFFCO, Survey of India, IGRUA, HITECH, Reliance, ITC, TATA, MapMyIndia, Delhivery and a few others.

The anchor list is not so impressive. Let's see how it goes
