MFs cant invest in just any company or for listing gains. There are too much regulations.

In past what I have observed that if MF are not interested then listing gain is not much even though subscription is high. For ex cartrade, GLS, APTUS etc.

Choose rii category.

Select RII only even if you are applying more than 2 lakhs.

Both Retail and SHNi are almost same.
But ShNi will have slightly better chances..

Please note one more point, in retail, you will get 1 lot. Where as in SHNi, if alloted, you will get 14 lots. Please see if you have capacity to hold 14 lots..

i have option of apply one small hni of 2 lav VS 14 retail application at this condion.
if i apply one small hni i have sacrify 14 retail.
at this condition which one best

If you have 14 retail application, go and apply as Retail. However, please note you may get 2 to 3 lots or more also...

Where as in SHNI, allocation could be difficult and if alloted you will get 14 lots

I am really not deserved to answer this. Many shares i purchased (after analysis) are in loss (even up to 50% ), few fluke purchases in bulk, compensate not only those losses, but in good profit. To me, so far there is no clear rules in buying or holding (except an easy answer to buy only blue chips).

I am not sure of your purchase values of those listed above. except 'jtekt' (which i dont know, remaining all are reasonably good shares to hold at present price, all have potential, but depending on your risk appetite you may decide or seek expert guidance. (disclosure: I am only holding - Star Health and Manappuram from your list)
