How PAT got sudden increment on 31 Dec 2020 on lower revenue compared to the results of 31 March 2020

दूध का काम मौसम एवं माँग पर आधारित है,दूध मे मार्जिन अधिक नही होता किंतु उससे बनने वाले उत्पाद मे मार्जिन अधिक होता है।त्योहारों एवं शादियों मे माँग बढ़ जाती है।अधिक समझने के लिए बैलेंस सीट का होना जरूरी है।

It''s mentioned that the RHP too that the revenue for 9MF21 is actually 12% less than the revenue of 9MF20 , and yet the PAT for the same periods is disproportionately higher.

The reason? Expenses fell in that manner in FY21.

They must''ve cut down their operations in relation to the decrease in demand. If we look in the expenses of 9MF21 and annualize them, the cost of material, inventory changes, employment expenses, depriciation, etc - everything is substantially lesser than F20 expenses.

[Annualized expenses of 9MF21 are 20% less than F20 expenses, while annualised revenue of 9MF21 is only 11.2% lesser than F20 revenue - and small differences in topline are often magnified in the bottomline, which is the reason behind the abnormally high PAT]

This is one of those situations where growth in PAT has not come from growth in business, but because the company was able to respond to covid in an elastic manner and reduce their expenses fast enough.

Will this PAT be sustainable? I think a part of it will be because for a lot of companies cost cutting has led to increased operational efficiencies.
But will the entire PAT be sustainable in the very next year? I don''t think so. When demand rises post-covid, I think expenses will catch faster than the growth of revenue, unless the management is already prepared for it (which they might be, who knows?).
