-The issue is Undersubscribed by retail buyers (Toal subscribtion - 97.52%) -The earning per share for DLF ~Rs 3.50 which is ~143 times the floor price and ~157 times the cut off price. -DLF fixed the issue price @525, which clearly shows that issue was heavily priced. They were not able to issue @ cut off price. -Most of the Real estate Scripts like Parsvnath and SOBHA are trading @ < 25 odd P/E ratio as compared to SLF which has fixed the issue only @ 150 P\E.
Only (+) to go with DLF -DLF has invested heavily in Land. As the land prices would go up in long term, this script would give high return.
Best Stratergy for DLF - (For those who didnt apply) Wait till the script is listed and am sure the rate would come down drastically. Let it stabalise and invest for long term. Fundamentally a great stock but here timing the market for this one is really crucial, as its still not listed.
- (For those who applied for the IPO and am sure you would get the exact number of shares you applied for) Sell at the Listing price before you are totally doomed.
hi kitu. i would not sell dlf as i have full faith in this stock to make us crorepatis. even if i think of selling it i cannot find any other better stock available in market now.so better to keep as long term hold .
This stock will definetly open at 580 and if market is good than will show 600 also.stock will be part of nifty & future and options. this stock is future stock with great up side potential. book partial profit at 600 rs and keep remaining for 2 years you will see it more than 1200 rs. stock market is for the people who have patience, those who are talking about this stock for bad listing will cry ,only after listing, this is very true.
anmol u r the biggest idiot on earth.do u know dlf or u have no idea about property market. the biggest investment and the biggest yield comes from land means land gives u best returns.people who bought land in gurgaon are now crorepatis .gurgaon is going to be millenium city .with the kind of land and commercial rent they get from properties is amazing. if u started calculating the actual value of their land dlf kp singh will be richer than reliance mukesh ambani. i have been to gurgaon and the way tehr e property is being built at fast pace and getting huge rent from all large companies its way ahaead of unitech. unitech will has rewarded excellent returns to investors then dlf been more profits and the no.1 in real estate .unitech has been stock split from 11000 levels .even i agree with TB that dlf will provide excellent rewards to all investors.Dlf is 1 stock to hold and keep it forgetting for 1 year.

hi kitu.u r correct dlf will have excellent listing and people who missed it will buy at 950 also as there is no better stock in market available than dlf.looking way construction stocks going up this will also have atleast 50% gains on 1st day.

tanushree, all the stock u r mentioning here were small issues. There number of shares were small and the demand was sufficient. DLF... being a very big issue..supply is greater than demand.. i think listing will be around its issue pices.. ie 510-530..
