one plot for every 100 shares?
DLF has come with 17.5 crore shares ( that too 13% of total shares ).
Going by this calculation 17.5 lakh plots will be required, where is the space on earth, perhaps they'll allot on
Jupiter.

Request all those who have not applied to stop crying like anything....If u have missed a good chance please stop creating unnecessary panic....moreover DLF listing matters to those who have applied...so leave it to them...and lets wait for the Judgement day.....

Tom,

After four years you will not get a plot alloted to you from DLF for every 100 shares. But you can expect them to pay SEBI Penalty of 5 Lakh rupees and delist and list again at a later date with IPO Price band of Rs 2000-2400/-

Hi Paul,

Thanks for your info. So whole day and night you have been working hard than the stock brokers and agents giving us these useful info of DLF to us ah.

By the way whatz your idea on the listing price of DLF. I see Rs. 40 to Rs. 60 on day one is very reasonable given the conditions.

Take care Paul.

I did not say retailers will sell below the issue price.
What i said was that it may create panic if it lists with Rs 25-30 premium. They would try to get out at any price above the issue price rather than getting stuck in it for the short or medium term.

Read properly before you reply.
574. Tom |   Link |  Bookmark | June 29, 2007 2:48:05 PM
Raghu,

You mean to say retailers have invested in biggest IPO to sell off on the listing day below the issue price and then enter other crap IPOs. Next time speak some sense.

Listing & closing price Rs. 599/-
After a week or two Rs. 800/-
After two years full smiles to all investors. It will be Rs. 2000/-
After four years you get a plot alloted to you from DLF for every 100 shares. Enjoy <<<:)

I will hold DLF share for at least 6 - 12 months. I am hopeful in getting the best appreciation in my investment. The plus point in DLF is quality of landbank and strategic alliance with other companies (segment: Health, Retail) requiring heavy infrastructure development. One should not bother about petty gain/loss during initial days of listing.
572. raghu |   Link |  Bookmark | June 29, 2007 2:30:38 PM
DLF will definitely fall on listing day. Here is the simple logic. First of all, issue size is huge and retailers who have applied have all got allotment. So a person who has got allotment for 1 Lakh surely will sell as he would like funds to apply for other IPOs.

Second possibility: If it lists at Rs 25-Rs 30 premium, retailers will panic and will sell all their holding leading to high volatility.

Good luck to all allotees.
People who did not apply can buy at the good price on listing day after watching the price movements and do intraday and sell and benefit from it.

People who do not have the shares are better placed then the people with shares as we are relaxed and are not having our blood pressure rising. Good Luck to people who are trying to find solace by convincing themselves saying that it would go to Rs 1000 or so.

Hi shareguru, akruti nirman land bank was very less than as compared to DLF. DLF has very huge land bank and they are about to get Rs 3000 Cr project which is in Dlehi itself.
and morever they will enter into retail and some other field also.
keeping in mind that they have issued that bid price u know.
anyhow will see on listing day. if u want u can buy it on listing day irrespective of the price.
happy earning.

Remember AKRUTI NIRMAN LIMITED
Issue price 540
Highest price 730
Today's price 325 ( within 6 months )
I earned good amount by selling on the first day itself.
The story will be repeated with DLF .
Happy earning!

ICICI FPO received better response than DLF IPO. People who did not apply in DLF can consider lucky and go for Intraday trading on 5th July.

For those people who have invested in the part payment
option either via ICICI or others...you will be intimated
soon by your investing banker/broker about the allotment...
and the balance amount which you would have to pay for the alloted shares will also be intimated to you by your
investing banker / brokers. So just do not panic, just be
in ur cool blues and wait.... ;-) cheer up !!!! But
the part payment investors will not be able to sell the
shares in the market within the first week or until you have
paid the balance amount fully (this is the only drawback
the part payment investors have). Those investors who have paid the amount in full would be able to sell their shares
on the first day itself and book profits.
