hello everybody who had applied through part payment method:

I called up karvy at the number 18003454001. They told me that they have sent the cover letter of instructuion to the respective applicants. But its not that the cheques will be processed as soon as we pay them. Apparently (if I have understood correctly the operator who didn't understand english very well) we cannot trade the partly-paid shares before 19th July.

So people just take it cool...there's lots of time.

Btw, people can call up that number and enter the application number and then can find out their allotment status.

Openning senarios:

Senario 1: Opens at Rs 575, goes to above Rs 600 in the first 5 minutes and then stays above that for the rest of the day and closes above Rs 600. - Technically will mean that the share will not come down below its issue price of Rs 525 and will gradually inch up to Rs 750 in 1 month till its earnings are announced.

Senario 2: Opens at Rs 525 and goes below Rs 500 in the first 5 minutes. Stays below Rs 500 and closes around Rs 450. - Technically bad for the share, will however not go below Rs 450 and will gradually inch up towards Rs 525 in 1 month till its earnings are announced.

Senario 1 strategy: Hold for atleast 1 month and do not exit before Rs 750 if you are a short term trader.

Senario 2 strategy: Sell as close to Rs 500 as you can then buy back below Rs 450 to average your purchase. Exit after a month above Rs 525.

Hi Friends,
Just out of curiosity I gone through various posts here and understood mixed openion on DLF. Thing to note is that many investors are not properly analysed DLF. Specially those who are spreading -ve abt this company. Please read on I am puttigng some facts/numbers below that will throw some light and may be it'll help investers to know what DLF is.

1.Lets know the domestic investors and their figures first.

Domestic- LIC-Rs.500Cr,SBI-Rs.500Cr,RIL-Rs.200Cr,Reliance capital-Rs.200Cr,Reliance MF-Rs.200Cr.(So this is definately not a fulish investment)

2.Lets see its current Assets

DLF is the only company in India which has 575mn sq.ft. land or development. It hase already developed its current land banks in Gurgaon and most of them are on lease to MNCs.(Good Source of revenue for long terms)

3. Brand and capabilities.

DLF has developed its own branding over a period of years and and has sufficient capabilities/skilled man powers to develop any kind of project in infrastructure.

4.Future prospects
Company has very well understood that their business is concentric (gurgaon or nearby only). It has already taken steps to become national player by acquiring land in kolkatta and others are in process. Indicates capabality of existing management.
Realestate stocks are currently not looking attractive, but look at the future major companies slowly slowy coming to india, starting theit production/manufacturing/development units here. They will require space first. At that time who has landbanks is going to be the king. The rate at which DLF is acquiring lands no doubt its going to be one of the kings.
Another aspect is because of intrest rates real estate sector is down. Imagine scenario when real estate intrests will fall these are the companies whoc will benifit most. At that time all those(Who have not subscribed to IPO) will repent themselvs and rush to buy in 4 figues.

There are many facts apart from few mentioned above to prove that the IPO subscribers have subscribed to a good issue. I would like to thanks to useless CNBC analysts who spread -veity in investers and because of these guys actually retailers got the 100% allotment of this issue.

Enjoy guys who all have got DLF. Thanks to all those who spread -veity in market and diverted many retailers from this issue. Best of luck to those who have not spread -veity and now they are spreading based on some halfdone analysis.

Dear Samjeev,
I very well know what I said, DLF has set up JV to bid for Infrastructure Project. A convection center by DAA worth rupees 3000 Cr, was one of the list item of CommonWealth Games. DLF has Land Bank in NCR and Gurgoan.

DLF is not a Retail or FMCG firm which will get orders in 2010. Its the time when Delhi Govt will plan tendering jobs.

I feel i had cleared your doubts

Mr. Shoeb, u r really a fool and u r making even bigger fool of yourself only. How can u say it will go to 1000 in one year. Do u know of any one project DLF is doing for commonwealth games. or does games mean share pices of all real state company will double in one year? come only with the facts. The facts are land prices are so high these days that it will grow only at 10-15% (for next 2-3 years. DLF can certainly go to 1000. but not in 1 yr. it can go to 1000 only in 4-5 years.

Hi Ritu Shah,
Nice to know your concern, well during Fortis Health Care you had advised your investors to invest in Fortis, but they lost money, so please be out this time.

Moreover on what base you are commenting that DLF is not a good company. I am a retail investor and had invested 77K for DLF. I accept that I am fool. Other have invested in term of crores, I wont say them as fool.

But the one who has missed the opporunity. I dont have any good word for them other than "foolish".

A word to all investors who had invested in DLF.

Welcome to DLF family, I dont have 51% of equity. But I am, one of the family member having a drop of shares. be assured all retail investors are going to make big.

As we know 2010 commenwealth games in india. I am from Construction cum IT domain. This is the right time to invest in DLF stocks.

Investors plese dont panic, I am sure sure will cross 1000+ in near future.

Thanks
Shoeb

We had not recommended to any of our client to apply DLF IPo. Poor listing will be seen @ 450 - 475. So avoid to fresh buying. It's a time of Power & Hotel Sector, like Power Finance Corp & Sterling Holiday for short to medium. Ritu Shah of Shah & Shah Finance

DLF is not ordinary share like we have generally. Whenever in any issue with large equity & with good FII intrest & money , never issue fails. It gredually increses once floating sock decreses. This share you should consider as a FD atleast for one year.
Consider ICICI, RPL, ONGC ,IDFC all with
major investment from FII, all are doubled in return.
this share may list at any level inbetween 560-580, it
will not jump at 600 & than 700 next day, it will slowly climb up, so if you do not want to keep it than sell on first or second day. But the share is good investment, for minimum 1000 rs in year time, i am writing this with good
experience & knowledge only & to guide very new and good
people.

Much awaited listing of DLF IPO has created a lot of
interest amongst the investors of all the three
categories - (a) those who have been allotted shares and
have paid full amount along with the application,
(2) Those who have been allotted shares, but they had paid partly at the time of application, (3) those who applied,
but unfortunately did not get any allotment for some
reason. I think there is yet another category - those who did not apply at all, but are interested in the shares
after listing. They are also watching the situation
eagerly. It is quite healthy for DLF. Investors'
expectations are quite high. Let us hope that these are
not shattered. Of course no speculations at the moment.
