Devyani International - For those who care beyond the GMP (based on FY21 consolidated financials & post-money (top end of the price band)):
RoCE (%): 0.9% RoE (%): -55.4%
EV / Revenue (X): 9.4x EV / EBITDA (X): 45.5x P / E (X): -171.8x
FYI - Priced cheaper than Burger King which currently trades at a higher EV / FY21 Revenue. However, KFC shoulders a lot of duds in the Devyani portfolio. Also, the stocks of this group seem to have an amazing ability to command a solid premium despite poor performance aka Varun Beverages

Amongst the IPO''s slated for 4th - 6th Aug, Devyani followed by Krsnaa are current preferences, relatively speaking. This preference may change as more info emerges and may choose to avoid both, entirely! It''s a dynamic world!
As more info, is emerging, Devyani seems to be the best pick for the short term for listing gains of all the 4 IPO''s! For those with limited funds and debating about fund allocation across 6 IPO''s for listing day gains, I''d say that bird in hand is better than 2 in a bush...Hard enough to predict what the local and global markets will look like next weekend so no point in trying to predict what they will look like by mid August when CarTrade lists.
As for those thinking long term, IMO, other than CarTrade all other IPO''s are ruled out! Enjoy the listing gains of 4 IPO''s and use the gains to invest in CarTrade on listing!
Here too...one half of the approach has worked out fine with the 4 listings today...now lets wait for the CarTrade listing to judge second half of the approach :)
So today i Tried Pizza from Pizza Hut and i must point out that Domino''s is miles ahead in the game , maybe has monopoly to some extent. Only advantage devyani has up it''s sleeve is KFC. So it''s definitely not a long term bet right now. But listing gains look good. Just a feeling needed to be shared...😄
Hi, it''s my person opinion pizza hut pizza''s are the best pizza as taste ,appearance and quality. But prices are bit high. Jubilant takes away the show with prices. More pizza hut is a 400 cr brand and KFC is a 1000 cr brand and for non veg lovers KFC is the best and they are monopoly in the business and pizza hut works with duopoly. Listing gains should be handsome and QSR culture penetration is fast with food aggricator so these business are best to own.

My personal opinion...Pizza Hut pizzas are softer, tastier, and so pricier than Domino''s. Dining experience is also far better in Pizza Hut with nice ambience compared to Delivery prioritised Hostel type dining experience in most of the Domino''s stores. Domino''s beat Pizza Hut in Delivery volumes but not in margins i think
If you sell more in less Margin then your revenue will be higher and profits too.. that''s how Tech companies run their business. That''s why MCD and Domino''s dominate in their business.

Yes. There should be a balance between the extent of sacrificing margins and % increase in sales
Dear DBJ, Lekkar There are 6 issues. All the issues we can apply if fund available. If any one having limited fund those who limited fund can apply Nuvaca and Car. Both large or 35% Retail hence liberal allotment and also give handsome return. Devayani subscribe more than 30 times. And also Krishna. Wind, and Exxaro all subscribe heavily. Allotment will be tough. All give good return. Grey market suggest Devayani above 50 Premium, Krishna starting with 400 premium. Exxaro will be dark horse in my point of view. Exxaro will subscribe 20 time above. So you can consider in Hni category if funds available.

Thanks a lot Rajakumar Sir, I Will apply in all 5 + 1 coming IPOs, already having capacity of funds for all accounts. I was also thinking about an HNI application for Exxaro, becs HNI will apply to Exxaro from their own pocket. Already applied for Rolex and Glenmark from all accounts, thank you for your suggestion on this. Hats off to you Sir for your dedication to this forum and exact point to point guidance. This has really helped a lot since the last 3-4 years. I would like to imitate KAMMA SIVA RAMA KRISHNA Sir''s statement "I pray to god to bless you with all the best. Not only me but all who followed you are all grateful to you for your valuable comments." We always require your valuable guidance in all forthcoming IPOs.
