For me also It''s showing "Processing" status for the last 3 days. But amount got blocked. So hopefully they will consider the application

Always use BHIM UPI for IPO.

Check the status of your application on NSE/BSE you will get correct idea.

It depends your application was submitted on which exchange?
Is your application numeric or alpha numeric?

I checked bse site for application status, one application rejected by Bank for other reasons. Two application status mentioned as awaiting upi mandate approval both in Angel app and bse site.
Questions: can I update my rejected application to new upi ID?
Can I accept the mandate again assuming earlier hold will be released.
All application upi were to same union bank account, will this be a problem?
How many Asba internet banking/ upi allowed for union bank?

Absolutely. Apart from fundamentals of the company, market sentiment plays a big role.

Glenmark Life science being a niche player in API and having strong parentage and below fair valuations did not give listing gains of even 5% inspite of GMP of more than 10% today and 20% at IPO closed. So justifiably people are might be little scared to apply via funding as they have bear huge interest cost.

Devyani even though is a good company but is a loss making company and will take considerable time to show profits bcoz of store expansions. So applying with funding for HNI quota might not make sense. If markets fall from here the GMP will vanish to 30 or 40.

Note: 3rd wave is near term risk.

GMP & HNI subscriptions don''t make an impact on the listing,

Any oversubscription does not mean that company is supers. Market conditions plays big role.

We have very bad experience with Ujjivan Small Finance Bank during December 2019. The IPO oversubscribed 166 times. The company was profit making at that time. After collecting money approx Rs. 750 Cr, performance is continuously deteriorating.

Share was given at price of Rs.37 during IPO, now a days difficult to go above even Rs.32 in this strong market.

I wish such bad experience would not be with all recent IPOs.

Less hni subscription will ultimately prove beneficial for self funded hnis... Even rolex will burn the fingers of funded hnis..

@Noorul..fair point on self funded HNI''s etc. But do you see a strong listing response with substantial absolute gains on listing for any of IPO''s to make it worth the effort of making an HNI bid? I for one didn''t and thought its better to buy on listing day, if at all, because the GMPs may not sustain in which case the lower HNI subscription also doesn''t help get meaningful absolute returns. Been tremendously humbled by GLS listing today so perhaps I''m a bit biased! Keep minting!

Gls story won''t b repeat every time same goes with clean n science n G r infra.. dats why we call it market.. nothing is certain here.. market hve its ups down .. high lows.. watever happend today in gls couldn''t mean us to left d primary market.. i m personally bullish on primary market where we see more than 30 lakh application in evry ipo.. it''s just a one bad day nothing else.. evryone hve this .. india got out on 36.. did we stop watching cricket..

CarTrade < 100 is a tough one I think!

@Neolongus...Cartrade NII quota is 450cr and so expecting 100x=45,000cr post 4 IPOs and Nuvoco NII amounts still in blocked condition is not low i think.

Yes...I agree with you that normally expecting 45K is not low except that with the dynamics of HNI financing for the current 4 IPO''s may impact HNI category for CarTrade / Nuvoco, if secondary markets remain buoyant and HNI financing comes back by 16th August

My final tally will be 336 lots in Devyani and 301 lots in CarTrade.

GLS flop listing and Banking Technical glitches shoo''ed out many HNI investors leading to lower than expected subscription numbers.

Devyani NII <250x 👍 and wish CarTrade NII will do <100x to get good allotment and then hope better listing gains 👍😄

@ sdz .. i told last night that server might crash today.. thats why i applied last night only.. i m going to get 1 lot krsnaa. 1.5 lot devyani and 11 lot of exaaroo as of now confirm.. will apply 135 lot in car..

I voted to go with all 301 lots with CarTrade and so ignored Krsna, Windlas & Exxaro, though they got low NII subscription nums

@ sdz. Eagleeye recommend exxaro.. her words matters a lot.. game can b play in this ipo.. its high risk high gain stock. .. will surely hit circuit on listing day.. but which one upper or lower .. only 16th aug know..

very bad luck for me today....couldn''t apply anything in hni in any of ipos due to bank issues from 1.30 pm only....till 3pm also it was not resolved.....ipo tab was not opening in idfc first bank app/site....later applied in retail only via zerodha upi.... lost lot of profit/opportunity due to this :(

@lokes it happened with me as well at the time of Tatva. Taking some precautions after that.. I too applied last night only as I was not available during 1st half of the day.
Don''t know what could be the reason. No. of IPOs - NO. Cause at Tatva there were only 1-2.

@lokes...i apply from Yes bank. Today i applied morning itself and that helped me not to miss. Learned lesson after missing Clean science application 30mins before cutoff

for me, idfc bank ditched me, i was trying from 1.30pm even the cut off time was 3pm....very bad....sara mood off kar dia....subscription also is less.....definitely 1-1 lot krsnaa and devyani mai mil jata.....and funds could be used on 12th also.... (2 sets of chance means)
now can apply only in one set of ipos in next week...

@lokes...hmm yes badluck. Noorul was much more cautious, preplanned and applied yesterday itself. Nowadays we dont have the luxury to wait till cutoff, plan according to subscriptions, decide and allocate funds into IPOs perfectly. ☹️

We need to be cautious and play safe to make sure we atleast apply

ya...actually i have 4-5 retails accounts also....and due to issues in SBI asba, i was adding all of them in yes bank and applying from there....and yes bank also otp issue was there so it was coming on call after 2 mins....so whole time wasted today, still i was trying at 1.30pm but till 3pm it was not working in idfc first bank for hni applications....

@ lokes.. i think this happens wd everyone of us.. i was also a victim in chemcon ipo.. from that time i mark my own cut off time 1pm. I m applying from kotak where cut off time is 2pm..

@ avenue.. we r getting 11 lot of exarro.. I dont think it will list on discount .. to b little optimistic if its open just 5% above issue price. Thats very normal scenario..Still we manage to made 8 to 9 k.. isnt a good amount..

@NOORUL. As per your advice, I applied Devyani in Full Force and I would get 419 shares in one account. In respect of KRSNNA, I applied lightly and would get 29 shares in another account. Reserved considerable amount for Car Trade so as to get at least one lot.

What do you do with allotted shares? I mean do you sell on listing or keep it irrespective of listing price or take individual call?
Exxaroo plans in particular, if not too soon...

One question out of curiosity:
for example Exxaroo since calculations are simpler being HNI only 5x

1. how to know exact NII subscription at 118, 119 and 120 respectively?
2. if 2x out of 5x applied at 118, and 3x at 120, is it correct to assume that only 3x who applied at 120 will be considered for allotment.

@Avenue...As the issue is oversubscribed even at 120, only bids at upper end i.e 120 will be considered and lower bids will be rejected

@ avnue.. hni cant place a bit anything lower than upper price band.. Its all subscription is at 120..

based on following fig. does it mean16.92 Cr applied @ cut off, 25.89-16.92 = 8.97 @ 120, 25.91-25.89 = .02 Cr @ 119, and 25.96 - 25.91 = 0.05 Cr @ 118

If I plan for 180 lots in CarTrade in NII through SBI ASBA, will there be any chance to get a lot? Earlier Rolex not got allotted as I applied in lesser lots than the total subscription in NII. Experts please suggest and guide me as I am new.
