While applying for IOP in the ASBA method, will the IPO be rejected if my DEMAT account name (as per PAN) and bank account name do not match entirely? I have the name in my bank account with initials for sir name but in PAN/DEMAT full name (first name + sir name)? Or does the IPO process only match the PAN number? I have not allotted any IPO since I switched to the ASBA method from UPI, that's why I am having this doubt.

Off topic. Does anyone know which platform provides fastest updates of a company? For eg; if a well reputed company acquires 100% stake in another small company, that share will go up suddenly, and majority of us only came to know abt this after the news like “this share is up 10% after 100% stake acquired by X company” How do know before that 10% up? Any platform to recommend? How these people get such news so earlier?
In stock market, If you have any kind of news ,"then you are the last person who aware of it".big guns are already fired

I understand your mindset, pocketing up the arbitrage in minutes. But Even if you have this you need an algo to punch trades. So better is to play a long term game and forget all this 10-20% stuffs. You are.also forgetting that turnovers are high in very short trades
Please help, In Ajanta Pharma buyback acceptance email received. Share debited from demat account. But final payment settlement on 19 June still not credited in my account.
@Kalpesh Patil - Which bank, is it a coperative bank ? My father had account in cooperative bank and I remember DD was issued by the company few years back for the bought back shares.
@HumorHedge - There is a second possibility as well.. check now the shares would have credited back to your account. Might be your buyback order was accepted only in 1 account.
off Topic: Senior members Did any of you came across any ipo case where the gmp was high and issue got oversubscribed but it gave very negative listing and people got stuck in that because of lower circuits (sme or mainboard ipo)
i was just curious about market and gmp manipulation so if any of you know such case please do reply 🙏 @Chhote Lal@Vimal Garodia or any other senior

@NAPSTER There have always been quite a few issues which despite of oversubscription and good GMP, ended up giving discount listing and negative returns. Some examples : Gopal Snacks, Capital SFB, Popular Motors. Circuits in markets are mostly safeguards, however one needs to be cautious about GMP. There have also been some cases like JNK India, Jyoti CNC, Jana SFB and Bharti Hexacom where initial response was moderate but the issues proved to be more rewarding post listing.
@NAPSTER Yes, I got Mandeep Auto SME allotted last month which at one point had 50% GMP. But, by the time it listing came its GMP ually listed below application price. I booked losses and exited within second day of listing.
To apply or not must be decided based on own analysis. I am considering to apply. Current GMP is Rs 94 or about 46%. but GMP alone should not be the criteria for selection.

@Always Be Positive Karma will decide For now you can just deny the transaction. And there is nothing to worry, this will not have any impact on your return. With my clients, I have seen such wrong information being populated related to shares & mutual funds.
I've also written an article on how we can deny such transaction with the new update on Income Tax portal. @Admin @ Chittorgarh.com Is it allowed to share link of the article here? It is on LinkedIn, please confirm.
@CASuraj Information filling by company is correct because of share amount received and paid both is same and nil value of transaction Error is from income tax department side which is picking wrong information (only pick amount received) So how can I Deny in feedback option

Yes, I also faced the same problem with SENCO GOLD and India Shelter Finance, JSW INFRA, Muthoot Microfin all HNI Applications of their IPOs. The Application money was shown as Purchase of securities and units of mutual funds Reported by Source and Processed by System in AIS. I paid Capital Gains Tax in respect of other IPO gains and some normal Tax on interest and other Income. My Auditor also has advised me to confirm the Purchase of securities as reported by Source in AIS. I Filed my IT Return accordingly. I still wonder why only these 4 Applications money was reflected in AIS while about 100 Applications and about 10 Allotments are not reflected. However, I paid Short Term Capital Gains Tax in respect of profit-booked IPOAllotments in FY 23-24.
Muthoot micro finance applied Rs ten lakh refund 8 lakh. India shelter applied ten lakh refund ten lakh. This information is contained in my AIS. I didn't give any response to any entry in AIS. I have filled ITR based on data given by zerodha etc . Figures are approximate

@Ipojhol there is no column or space to give feedback . Only questionnaires are given to answer . IMO better to avoide and don't give any reply of these transaction as one of the company EPACK has withdrawn the transaction submitted earlier....

In continuation of my earlier message. Let us say as per my information total dividend received in the financial year is 21100. If AIS shows dividend to be 20824 I mention 21100 in ITR. If AIS shows dividend to be 21264 I mention 21264 in ITR. Usually difference is not large. I don't mind paying Rs 500 or 1000 extra income tax instead of paying to CA. I always file ITR myself and have so far never received any notice from IT Dept
Bulk deal info we get usually in late night. Is there any portal or feed which provide quick information on bulk deal (not type of infra day but long hold deals)

Bulk and block deals fall under reporting time frame regulations and generally are available at the end of day. You may check official portal of exchange like NSE.

Bloomberg terminal gives this in real time. A normal person cannot afford this. Though i beleive that the names of who purchased appears after market hours only.

@rahulkrjain NSE site > scrip name in search bar > Historical data > Bulk/Block deals data
@Sound Investing I think he was referring for IPO listing day bulk deals specifically, how to find out "kiska ka block deal hone vala hai" that I don't know
