There is one more related info, many demats like ICICI doesn't allow you to submit multiple application at all for e.g. retail or HNI or vice versa. I'm sure your demat doesn't have that validation otherwise this would not have happened.

DCX not good for long term , it is also one of those companies which doesn't innovate and entirely depends on Israel companies. Just to meet compulsory quota of MII these kind of companies exists for now.
Now this innovation thing may be true for many sectors but in defense sector it is all the more relevant since government push to armed forces to buy can only go so far and these companies have to become competitive enough to compete globally. DPSUs may be safer because of valuation but there market share will also get eaten away by tata Mahindra l&t etc.
