FURTHER THERE IN NO PHOTO IN HUF PAN CARD AND PHOTO IN INDIVIDUALS PAN. IF THE PAN NO. IS AABHL2302R & AAABPL2302R THE FOURTH LETTER "H" IN FIRST CASE DENOTES HUF AND FOURTH LETTER "P' DENOTER PERSONAL i.e. INDIVIDUAL. SO RAMESHJI IS ABSOLUTELY RIGHT AND IPOKIND IS NOT AWARE OF THAT.

you are absolutely right a person can have two pancards in his personal capacity & in huf capacity. further i hereby clarify that person can have three pan cards in his personal capaciy, as a karta of his bigger huf and as a karta of smaller huf. there is nothing wrong in it and he can apply in the same company with three differant forms.
i have discussed the above matter with my c.a. and it is perfectly all right. any person having huf capacity can take use of this. this information is for the boarders of the site. take care and bye

I am not an expert in any law. But buy reading and tracking various financial matters, my understanding is that for income tax purposes, a person can have dual capacity, one as individual and the other as karta of HUF. An assessee should have a PAN Card. Hence, a person X can have two PAN cards. So Rameshji is legally right. Karta of HUF can lend money to himself as an individual. The are cases when courts quashed assessment officers dicisions to assess individual's income alongwith HUF.

Also I feel that Rameshji should not have publicised his application numbers in such public forums. Time and again I tried to tell people that, if they can post a message here, that means they can check IPO status online. Still, people give out personal details for getting information which they themselves can get. Many knowledgeable persons are there in this forum who can guide you in difficulties, but don't get your work done by others.

rameshji if u r having h.u.f. a/c then it clearly mentions in all transaction.it seems there is something fissy in this two a/c.
