For IPO only means if you hold securities less than 50,000/- no AMC is payable to any DP as per SEBI regulations for BSDA (Basic Services Demat Account). The condition is only that the holder must have only one demat account across depository, means if any one has 2 demat a/c with any DP of CDSL or NSDL, they are not eligible. Depository check it with PAN.
Transaction charges payable and may vary DP to DP but a broker DP offers very nominal transaction charges if trade is done through them as they earn brokerage.
What is the need for this question in this forum? Pl. do not ask these kinds of irrelevant questions. Pl. type the messages only about the CSB IPO. thanks.
Use code HIRE151 for 5paisa demat and trading ac free of cost, and lowest brokerage 20 Rs. Per order. Use HIRE151 otherwise ?

In BSDA regime, DP can charge maximum 100/- p.a. as AMC if holding is between 50,001/- to 200,000/- on any day during billing cycle of AMC. If holding up to 50.000/- in account during billing cycle, no AMC can be charged.
Don't worry nothing is going to happen to karvy. Earlier also karvy was banned, nothing happened to them. They are running operation as usual. Seb and karvy are playing tom-jerry.
Hello ammubutter. Karvy will continue serving their existing clients as they were before. They can trade, manage demat accounts, apply in IPO or close the account anytime. Only the new account opening is prohibited.

It has been seen in over subscribed issue that allotment is mostly done application wise hence instead of 1 application for 13 lots amounting to 1,90,125/- you go for 13 applications for single lot 14,625/- each which shall give better chance of allotment.
However, if you can not arrange many applications and have money without any problem, you should apply single application for 13 lots (i.e. less that 2 lac) as there may be better chance on the 'basis of allotment'.
@dpcdsl In oversubscribed situation in ipo All application either 1 lot or 13 lots treated same as per my knowledge So no edge for 13 lots over 1 lots Please correct me

No. No. of lots applied for matter. It depends upon 'basis of allotment' parameters, there are 2 parameter or basis - one is application wise another is 'subscription wise'. Your understanding is correct if it is 'application wise', which is prevalent now-a-days for the cause of larger investor base and 'bahujan hitay bahujan sukhay' concept.
But if 'basis' is decided subscription wise the application for more quantity matters. Take an example, issue subscribed 10 times then allotment shall be as follows: 1 out of 10 who applied for single lot, 1 out of 5 who applied 2 lots, 1 out of 3.3333 who applied 3 lots 1 out of 2.5 who applied 4 lots 1 out of 2 who applied for 5 lots and so on ... Firm allotment to those who applied for 10 lots. Additional proportionate shares given to those who applied for 11 to 13 lots.

@dpcdl Please don't give wrong information,
At the time of over subscription , consider as per application wise, So single lot application and max lot application both are equal.
@dpcdsl Absolutely not correct that multiple lot application has an edge or beneficial over single lot applicants in over subscribed ipo Otherwise 15000 cap is useless In retailers bcoz no one get any allotments in oversubscribed situation if priority will be given to 2 or more lot in single application So Stick to basics 1 lot /application
In case of oversubscription only one lot maximum. No other formula is applicable.NO fix allotment for more application in retail category. It's pure lottery base.
If i apply 5 applications(each with different PAN) from single bank account, will my all 5 applications get rejected ? I heard in chittorgarh forum that one should apply each ipo application from the bank where demat is linked. I searched over all the SEBI,NSE IPO FAQs and didn`t find anything like this.

No problem, u can proceed, U can apply multiple applications with asba net banking But main thing is different pan &demat numbers
What is the people's opinion about applying for this IPO via CANARA BANK SECURITIES? Is it reliable? Whether they will actually submit our applications to NSE & BSE before the cut-off timings? Experts, please comment.
