​@NII Is there any reason that you are searching for the Banks where OTP is not required at any stage ? Something cooking great in your mind. You want everything ready to apply in IPOs.
Hope you get everything ready by Banks. Not in one but many. But in my opinion this is a good thing for the account holder.

You would have to input OTP in kotak netbanking, but in app No OTP is needed

even bank of india allows without OTP

Bank of Maharashtra... main password plus transaction password.....But you will require otp for login to web account...
It is now compulsory to use otp at some stage...

Yes in bank of india u can apply through netbanking without otp, to be verified with yr transacion pw only even u can login also by login pw only, but u have to enter demat acct no & pan also but u can copy paste same from yr excel sheet. so no need to typing every time demat no & pan

In PNB, no OTP is required at any point. But you need to enter DP id.

Now it is headech to collect OTP from family members in hurry.....

I don't know about kotak securities. But I am applying sme throught kotak net/mobile banking.

​@ipo share UPI facility is available on HDFC Sec Platform.

Also You can try Dhan broker they are having robust system.

Fyers is also good (I did not use this platform for IPOs)

​@mkmathur Thanks for your response please. I have minor's account in HDFC Bank and Trading Account in Prostocks. UPI ID has been created in HDFC Bank but didn't receive any mandate sent by Prostocks on 5th Oct. thrice.

Please help & clear the doubt recently Open the Minor Bank ac in yes bank with Guardian is mandatory as per rule so while applying the IPO its showing Investor Name (my kid ) Trishank makkar UG RAVI MAKKAR (father name) but yes Pan card no. is Minor updated in Bank ac (this is sure) so while IPO lottery they will accept UG (under Guardian) name screen short attached & i have his Minor Demat with Zerodha pls note while earlier 3rd party asba i have received IPO on his name also. but now as per SEBI new rule Pan card & bank ac name should be same as per demat ac but here issue come Minor name Trishank makkar UG ravi makkar pls see the screen short you advise is highly require thanks in advance

No. Currently IPO application using HDFC Mobile Banking App (eg: abc@hdfcbank)? is not supported, however you can apply IPO via our partner app Google Pay by linking HDFC Bank account.

How can I apply in IPO via UPI?

Register on Google Pay & link your HDFC Bank Account with okhdfcbank handle
Enter your UPI ID in the IPO application form and submit it
Approve the notification in the Google pay app to block the amount for IPO
On allotment of the shares, the money is automatically debited from this blocked amount

apparently one cant apply from hdfc bank's own upi id yet.

​@Ravi Makkar Ji, there is absolutely no problem as in case of HDFC Bank also, my minor son's name is followed by guardian's name and in Prostocks, demat account is in the name of my minor son only. We have received allotments also.

​@RAJESHWAR Ji, Google pay requires Debit Card details and HDFC Bank has not issued the same so far, so I made UPI ID in HDFC Bank. But when broker sends UPI Mandate for approval to the bank, it should be displayed in my account. Why this problem is coming? If HDFC UPI doesn't work, then why the bank is creating it and confusing the customers.It doesn't matter what payment one is making, it should be within permitted limit of Rs.5 lakh.

Most importantly, whether it is safe to share our details with them and which app you are personally using? Sorry to give your trouble. Thanks 🙏

third party app available on play store so you can say it safe, I rarely use them in some cases and delete my details (demat and UPI ID) post applying

In fact I have to delete this @hdfcbank UPI id to register a new UPI id on other platforms.

Same problem was with me.
I got a rupay debit card issued in my minor son's name & created a UPI I'd in bhim UPI app & now apply in IPOs by both asba & UPI mode.

EMS IPO was allocated also in this recently opened account.

There is one app named IPO premium available on play store & iOS both.
One can apply in all IPOs using UPI id upto rs 5 lakhs.

But it's unlikely to solve the problems of @ipo share Sir as @hdfcbank UPI id isn't enabled for IPO applications yet. & he can't creat another UPI id without debit card being issued in minor's name .

Apply by asba till then.

​@RAJESHWAR Ji, Congratulations on allotment in Vishnusurya. There is sudden downfall in GMP. This may be a trap to corner the retail shares. It is very dificult to decide in advance whether to sell or hold. You have to decide at the time of listing. If you are getting good profit, you may exit or otherwise, wait for sometime and see how things move. Operators never adopt same strategy in every IPO.
You may also go thru the Vishnusurya page to see the comments of forum experts, which may help you to decide your strategy.
As far as Committed Cargo is concerned, business and financials are good but LM is very unpredictable in addition to Advisor to the IPO. I will wait till last day to decide.

I have hdfc bank account and Phonepe UPI.
I am applying ipo from tradeswift (name of broker).
I received the UPI mandate after 5 minutes.
and I had also allotted in ipos.

​@RAJESHWAR Ji, thanks for providing very important related to non functioning of HDFC UPI in IPO applications. To come out of this problem, I have applied for debit card for my minor son. Hope, they issue it soon. Till then, I can only only use third party UPI.
If someone is using a third party App for applying in IPOs (without trading account in the same), please inform.
Due to difficulties in Kotak Securities (absence of SME application option), I am also thinking of opening additional demat account in Zerodha (if I don't get any safe choice of third party application platform).

​@ipo share Sir, I have occasionally used this IPO premium app - a third party IPO application app. No need to open a trading or demat account with them, just enter your demat account details & UPI id for one time registration (including third party UPI IDs).you may register multiple demat accounts with them & apply by UPI id mode only ( upto rs 5 lacs only ). They allow IPO applications upto 5 PM also & also display your allotment status without entering Pan no or other details. GMP & live subscription status is also available.
Over all a pleasant experience so far.
You may try it once.

Once you receive your minor debit card , you have to visit HDFC Bank ATM & set it's pin & then create UPI id & you are good to go.
That's what I did sir.

Blind investor have only one choice, Otherwise money in bank , is good than apply anywhere. Note recommend for not applying.
