Axis bank ruined it all. I also have not recieved any sms and email. I think because of the technical problem they had day before yesterday, the bid was not placed and this stupid bank did not even bothered to correct what went wrong because of their server issue. Totally feeling pissed. I had money, had demat but still couldnot apply.

Those who applied by axis bank may not get allotment

Applied through Axis. Got 11 digit app number.
I have been applying through axis from long time. Never faced issue.
Remember, ever u get such type of error always use Internet Explorer. It works very smooth.
Same is the case for HDFC accnt holders.

I got acknowledgement from axis...dont blame bank..I applied around 30 application

even i got 11 digit but in ipo status its showing 7 digit and for 1 app i got confirmation sms from nse and amt blocked for both.. but when u go to check bid details in karvy its asking 8 digit..

Not blaming bank without reason. It has nothing to do with what browser you are using. Day before yesterday i called customer support for the problem i faced. I applied for ine application and amount got blocked 5times, furyher the status was showing processing. Customer care asked me to visit branch and i visited what they gave the repmy is server issue we cannot help. Wait till 72hrs to get clear picture. 72hrs they don''t even have sense to understand that the application will close by then, i explained the same repky than don''t apply. I checked in the evening the status showed blocked for 5 application, i withdrew 4application and the status was processing, yesterday evening what i found is all the amount unblocked and none of the application was sent. Now you say whom should i blame, not the bank.. if they had issue they could have stopped ipo application for tgat time. But no, they don''t even bother. And ya last but not the least i tried to apply through other demat and what msg i got was yoy canbot apply for more than 5 application through 1 debit account. It was showing 5application is applied and now showing none. And very conviniently you are saying don''t blame bank. You applied 20 applications good for you, but many have faced this issue and ceryainly the bank is to be blamed.

i have applied thru axis bank and got the confirmation sms and email from nse. you cannot blame a particular bank all the time. this may happen with any of the banks. then what will you say? will you stop applying for IPOs completely?

Bid is not placed. Blame the disgusting bank. They has server issues and don''t even bothered to stop the option for ipo because of their server problem. They give a damn to customers. It was showing blocked, and amount too blocked but the bid was not placed. They will release the amount by the end of the day in case you applied yesterday.

rchandak@ i applied two application on day 1 money blocked for both on same day. got sms from nse bid yesterday and not got sms for one but amt still blocked..

@adiman i hope you never face this issue.. in case you face any issue in future than will talk to you and will see how much you will praise your dear axis bank. And who told that will not apply ever in ipo''s, will certainly apply in future also but ya never with this bank.

From what Rchandak writes - it''s the bank''s shortcoming.
Sad to note that employees of even a leading private bank are apathetic.

aap toh baat dil pe le liye bhai...i am not supporting any banks. am just telling that this situation can happen with any of the banks. not only axis..

I know this can happen with anyone, but mine is axis bank, wvery bank having server issues should not even allow to place bid and block amount to fool customers and in relaity not the aaplication not even processed. Till yesterday i was in the impression that my bid is placed as it was showing blocked and amount too blocked and in the eveningwhat i found is bid is not even placed. Every bank should atleast do something in case of server issues and if can''t do anythhing atleast stop ipo application for that period of time.

Appreciate your highlighting the issue with Axis on this forum.
Suggest email/write to the bank too, until someone responsible is made aware. If the minions at the lower rung give you lame excuses, keep escalating.

I applied from axis Bank and i too got confirmation message.

If you are Lucky you will get only ONE lot.

No way. Both will be rejected.

In every Ipo i applied from 2 accounts

very less...apply minimum for 10-15 application for sure allotment atleast 1-2 lot

Hi Solution of Queries,
For applying 10-15 application, one should have that many deemat accounts in name of different persons with different PANs. A normal person can open max 3-5 accounts including spouse, parent etc.

Are your applying through Offline mode? If So try applying through online, might be you are doing some mistake you fill the offline form.
