Sir i believe there is some confusion at your brokers end and there is never a problem in applying with different family names having same contact address. In this case even if all applications are allotted shares everyone will get 50 % of the shares applied for. So no reason to worry and have patience for the final allottment figures.

I am not a broker or Stock analyst. I am a banker/conservative investor whereby i have applied only in good/risk free IPO's for past 6 years.

I have just furnished the information whay the broker / Registrar has communicatec to me yesterday. My broker is Geojit BNP Paribas whom for me is kind of reliable till date.

I also know when the allotment will happen and only was shocked when i heard such a news as i already quoted " I am not happy with skillset of Link intime staffs" becoz of past experience and thats the reason i didnt confirm the news.

Anyways i will speak again to my broker/registrar and furnish the information by today night.

becouse who apply for 1 lakh now they apply for 2 lakh this may increase subscribtion of retail category and some HNI category clint may apply in retail category with 2 lakh and get more share then expected in HNI category

even if i take u as an ordinary man with common sense, you just tell me whether in the history of ipos did u ever got allocation within 5 days of issue closing or on the same day of cheque passing...


so my dear friend, if you dont want to be treated as "PHALTOO', write sensible...

i know 20 persons whose cheque will come today for clearing....

and i have confirmed this with bidding centres that banking of last lot cheques are yet to be finalised...

First of all go to your broker and ask him what kind of rumours he is spreading and then use your brain to judge the truth...

Talk sensibly and use good language first. I also know to thrash you by using more harsh/nasty words which i never want to do in a public blog.

I have clearly said in my message kindly check with your broker/registar first and i the person who does not beleive in speculation/rumours as i have posted the message only for other boarders to check with registrars/brokers and confirm the same to other boarders as i Personally received the confirmation from Link Intime staff. ( I personally dont beleive in the skillset of Lindk Intime staff) and thats the reason i didnt commented saying I confirm the news.

First of all a big thank you for Chittogarh team in eradicating the Anonymous group from the site and now the bog looks more professional and informative.

Happy to see the old boarders/experts returning back again. Welcome all !!!!!

Today would like to share some information which i received about Coal India IPO.

I personally have applied 3 full application under my name, spouse & Father. Today in my broker office one of the client who applied similarly in Coal India IPO (Totally 7 full applications) under differnt family names with same residentail address notified the branc manager stating that he was allocated for only 3 applications and remaining were rejected. Then whn my broker investigated the same it was found that all the customer,dp details mentioned in the form was accurate and the allotment is done via ensuring every public who applied for the issue gets sure allotment and people who applied with differnt family names with same residential address have been rejected some applications - My broking manager confirmed.

Then I personally called the Link Intime registrar and enquired about the same but 2 times I failed. But finally i was able to reach to a staff in Link Intime wherein he also confirmed the same as above wherein he notified normally for GOVT issues the allotment will only happen in similar way and they will always ensure all retail public get some shares in the IPO rather than some investors getting Definate shares for each of the applications applied.

So bad luck for investors including me who have applied with multiple applications under family name with same residential address.

Kindly request all boarders to check with the registrars or your brokers/syndicate members about the type of allotment and do not just blame me as I have furnished this information as what i have received from registars & Brokers.
