Link Intime India Private Ltd is the worst registrar. They , delay in refunds, rude to the investor and enter wrong data to hassle the customers. I prefer to avoid their IPOs but hv applied CIL via ASBA. I think Investment Banker should look into their reputation before giving them the business.

If you consider portion (i.e. 35%) of left over employee quota for retail people as well then retail over subscription will come down to 2.1 times. So most probably people will get at least 190 shares for the full application of 400 shares.

Yesterday I spent almost 1 hr by calling the link intime registrars to clarify the allotment of Coal India IPO. I almost spoke to 4 different staffs of Link Intime and everybody's view was diferrent from each other. They were not clear and they do not even have basic knowledge about IPO and always struggled when i posted disfferent questions. Finally i gave it up and informed my broker to check from his end.

Karvy is much better than Link Intime & the sillset of the staffs are far better than link intime registar.

I hope the allotment will happen on 1st Novemeber and keeping my fingers crossed !!!!!!!

I heard that on application of 98000 one can get 173+ - 10 share and here i come to know about allotment of 200-225 share of CIL . i am new in this field can anyone tell exactly how much ..........

Coal India was subscribed more than 15 times which comes around Rs 2,250 billion being locked up. So refund will be around Rs 2,100 billion which can prove as another booster for the equity markets.
