When a company does an IPO, and the issue is over-subscribed:
- what is the basis of allotment of shares ? - hw is it determined?? ( i.e. company can do it or as prescribed by Stock Exchanges/ SEBI) - are there any rules, regulations in this regard?
When Ipo is oversubscried in RII category then allotment is done on forms basis irrespective of no. of lots applied per application.
So if u apply for full rs. 200000 then ur chances are equal to applicant of 1 lot.
So always apply for 1 lot only when issue is over subscribed. So better is to apply for the name of all family members to increase chances of allotment.
BSE IPO applied 10 lots alloted 0 D mart IPO applied 10 lot alloted 0 CL Educate applied 8 lots alloted 1
Some big fraud is going on in all ipo allotment process some big fish eat all profit of Retail investors SEBI should involved into this and make allotment process transparent we should raise our voice.
