As there will be huge oversubscription in Chemcon,what will be application rate? hardly 200. Will you go for 200 or keep application with you only? This will be answer for your question.

Is it beneficial to apply for more than 1 lot (44 shares)?

Just put 1 lot in multiple family members account if possible or be ready to be for more than 300 lots in NII category. Take your pick with amount you have to invest.

GMP stands for Grey Market Premium - it is the premium at which shares are traded offline
Kostak basically means your application - there are people who will pay you for purchasing your application - Then if you are alotted - whatever would be the profit/loss would be theirs.
