​@M Gupta ji, is any foul play reported in allotment process by brokers ? I lately see less than my fair share allotted to me in most ipos, especially zero allotments in mainboard despite number of applications. If it's just pure irluck, I am fine to continue current strategy. Else I will completely switch to SME (instead of BHNI mainboard) and apply same odd number lots across family accounts, so to reduce chances of any foul play . Kindly suggest what I should do.

I am of the same view .
One of my known broker who has clients who apply appox 300 bhni applications in good mainboard was complaining that in the last 7-8 main board IPOs where kfin or linkintime were registrar , avg allotment was less than half of the expected allotment (as per subscription).
Continuously this is happening, this cant be coincidence for 7-8 ipo that too on such large base.
He was asking where he should complaint with the data ( SEBI or somewehre else)

@Aakash p, first of all you are not going to lose your money.

If the money is blocked then there is high probability that your bid is successful.

Now you just have to wait until the allotment date to know for sure. That day or 1-2 days after, your money will be debited or refunded depending on if you get allotment or not.

If money is still blocked then contact your bank by phone or personally visiting the branch, they will solve yiur problem.
Relax you will not lose your money. All the best

And one more thing, next time please use ASBA. It is almost flawless.

And.... kya yeh sme ipos T2T trade ke hote hain

Nowadays SME ipos are overscribed manifold, so liquidity is not a problem atleast for few days to weeks, in such highly oversubscribed ipos. Yes listing gains vary in preopen to followup days. Some ipos lists very high & then decrease on same day or next days (as company circle usually try list the script as high as possible, grey people try to list high or low as per their own gain), & some list low but rise in coming days.

Also many poorly subscribed ipos are usually posted at par or little high due to operator play, & go to minus as operator is vanished, so in such ipos, better to book profit at preopen or earliest.

​@Ghost rider Yes it will be in T2T. You will be able to sell the stocks bought today only after the stocks are settled in your demat account (T+1 days). Intraday and BTST trades are not allowed. On opening day filter would be 5%
