Yes. My Kotak RM told me that it is possible, though i have not used it as their FD rates are lower than my S/B (AU bank). Many other banks don't even allow using FD against ASBA (e.g. i tried Indus).

With linked FD you can apply without breaking in Kotak. I have been doing the same.

@Nikk - Yes it is possible in Kotak. Log in to your netbanking and link the FD to your savings account. Once you link the FD to your savings account your balance will show as your savings balance + FD amount.

YES BANK / INDUSIND BANK / IDBI BANK ......they all allow to apply using FD but your FD should be marked SWEEP IN

@Krishna T and other customers of ICICI bank, kindly mail your issue saying the amount is still blocked for Anlon only by ICICI, and the rest of the banks have released it as we want to apply for IPO closing today.

@IPO Bhakt... Thanks for sharing this information. I have already moved 75% of my funds from ICICI and have only 25% funds stuck in ICICI due to linked FDs. I usually find ICICI customer care to be pathetic, let's see if this email helps.
