yes am applying here....in hni only, no retail, anyways never getting allotment in retail....
In ducol, if subscription are lesser, within 10-20X then will apply 2-3 retail applications there...

What is estimated subscription figures in both categories?

Going to apply here with a couple of HNI apps. A few 50+ lots, a few 25+ lots and a few 10+ lots and rest with 3-5 lots. No point in applying in retail as chances are very less for allotment.

If you have surplus funds, trying putting in HNI apps with 3-5 lots. Chances are better for allotment.

@Venkatram Can you please explain the process of allotment for SME HNI with an example?

If I have applied 10 lots and there is 200 times oversubscription in HNI category, there should be 5% chance of allotment right? Correct me if I'm wrong. Please explain the process of allotment in SME HNI.

@Piyush K lets take your example 10 lots with 200x sub then then the chances are 10/200 = 1/20 = 5%. And say you apply 25 lots then 25/200 = 1/8 = 12.5% which is greater than 5% so chances are better above 25 lots and no lottery in this case if you can manage 200 lots then it will be 200/200 = confirmed 1 lot allotment.

Applied 3 HNI applications, however small lots only.

DUCOL is 1000 times better than CHAMAN.

For APPLICATION/ALLOTMENT PURPOSE.

DUCOL is not RISKY at all.......nothing to worry.

same thing is happening last few days, goes down most of the day and in the last hour miraculously recovers. today being friday the chances are very high for that to happen...people don't like to carry over sell positions during weekend.....there could be some short covering that might pull nifty up to some respectable level....well the opposite could also happen. AROUND 02.30 I am planning to buy few lots of nifty 18000 CE and see.......

Need clarity on HNI and Retail allotment
Suppose issue is subscribed by 200 times and HNI category I have applied for 10 lots and in Retail with different name and PAN for 1 lot
Retail chances are 1/200
and HNI whether chances are 10/200 or just 1/200 due to oversubscription.
Please guide.

@PiyushK, yes 4-5%, which is close to Zero :) as lottery will happen for all people who applied 10 lots. it is hard to predict how many will apply same lot - normally it would be more than overall NII subs, esp because 10lot is a round number.

After lot of deliberation in my mind between chaman and ducol, i decided to go FF in Chaman (30 lots - my max) rather than Ducol...getting allotment in Ducol might be easier, don't know if i did the right thing.....only time will tell

I think ducol is benificial.
Small profit than chaman but getting profit chance is higher than getting nothing here.

Its seems Ducol allotment chance is very high and profit of 20 to 30k is confirm.
