Today morning, I first applied in CHAMAN METALLICS thru SBI-UPI since funds from Anlon Technology IPO were not Unblocked till then. Though I did not approve the Mandate for money blocking.
Later, at around 1 pm when Anlon Technology IPO money got un-blocked, I applied thru SBI-ASBA where money is also instantly blocked.
My query is whether may ASBA application will be considered valid (as I did not complete the process of Mandate Approval against my earlier UPI application) ? Or the ASBA application will also be rejected ?
Sir, Kindly advise.

I think Chaman will definitely score magicl Century ( like Sahwag) over short term just like PNGS. So everybody pray for Aman Sorry Sorry it's Chaman . 🥰😆
You will not get any allotment if you are alone in that lot category unless you by yourself have applied 50% of NII subs (e.g. applied 125lots for NII subs of 250). Basically, each HNI lot category has to be a minimum of 50% of NII subs to be eligible for the lottery.
So you mean if I apply 110 lots size, then same lot size should be there for other 3 applications as well for allotment chances? By the way, is this 50% of HNI subs. rule mentioned anywhere?

@rohan: i felt very bad for you after seeing your post in anlon page that you didn't got allotted even after applying 4 big applications, just because you didn't choose lot size properly. As by now, you might have understood, that you need to apply in such a way that either you are above 0.5 times of final hni subscription in any single application or either you need to choose all application with same lots for much better chances....As you know that all your applications at different lot sizes are treated as separate/individual applications, so allotment in each will happen as per chances in that lot category.
In last one week, i have posted this thread 2 times, posting it again now, please give some 15-20 mins and go through below link post to understand properly so that you don't loose opportunity in future after applying with so many big applications. https://www.chittorgarh.com/ipo/ipo_discussions.asp?a=1207&c=489020&ap=1
@PBRGV and JMD 87 lots means roundabout 1 CR Check previous boa, you would see that as funding limit is 1 CR , there are higher no of applications roundabout 1CR fund size So better to go above that 1cr mark or atleast 2 lots below Check with Dronacharya boa there were 115 applicants at 99.36 Lakh. Just a suggestion, else your money your choice.
@Hope is life Right strategy will be increasing the chances of allotment (i.e., probability). Read the comments shared by Justalearner and Trueinfo below
but in retail its subscribed 159 times nd in hni 255 times
so i think about retail last time..
can u please explain sir
why 2 lot in each account has better chance of allotment?

You could have gone for 3 lots of hni in each account. Your allotment chance would have been 1 in 85 (I.e. 255÷3) for each application. In retail presently your chance is 1 in 159.

@Hope is life When you have more funds it is always beneficial to go with hni applications. In your case you applied 15 retail which have a little less chance of allotment than hni 2 lots each of 15 applications.
Calculation. Retail 1 out of 159 1÷159*100=0.62% per application You applied 15 applications so 0.628*15=9.43% overall chance to get a lot.
Hni it is subscribed 255 and if you had applied 2 lots 15 applications each then calculation is done as following 2÷255=0.78% per application 0.78*15=11.76% overall chance to get allotment

Though retoli bigger in size but subscription figures are laser than my expectations. Seems like people reserve their money for ducol or frustrated by game of block and unblock.
No chance of allotment again. Expected it to be 100x subscription but Anlon funds released soon and now 200x subscription. All the best for potential allotees

@AJS Mr. Lokes informed that he had applied no. of lots similar to issue PRICE not issue SIZE. So you can consider lots around 38.

@noorul: hahah...if i had that much money then i won't be giving this much time in posting here ;) I have applied here no. of shares which is similar to 1 lot amount here :)
SBI & Yes..allows 3 rd application But dont know if the applicaion are rejected or accepted...as no allotment recieved till date on any 3rd party asba lot.
Hi As mentioned here, https://www.chittorgarh.com/article/3rd-party-ipo-application-from-one-bank-account/537/ Yes, Axis and some other banks still allow 3rd party ASBA applications. Although LinkIntime allows it, some even got allotment Still, I will suggest not going that way.
I do have 7 HDFC Bank accounts (6 Family members + 1 HUF). I do login into their net banking portal and apply from there using Zerodha Demat account numbers.
@mark bab, I got in LIC IPO, and some people also recently claimed to get allotment from 3rd party applications.
@SMEIPOKING, don't underestimate @ajnabeedost,he has deep pockets and big hni,he can apply similar amounts in Ducol,BTW,how many lots are you going to apply in Ducol? Thanks buddy

Assuming that you are the only one to apply for 123 lots (which is most likely), you would have been almost assured of allotment with 4-5 more lots. If luck favours, technical rejections may still help you exceed 50% of NII subscription. All the best.
Thank you for you reply. I heard somewhere that no one is allowing multiple applications now a days. Have you applied for multiple applications in recent.
