Why they are using ECS word for the Refund.

I am got my Refund on 12 AUG 07 through Cheque only of Central Bank of India.

If you have not received your chq then hold on , you will be receiving today or Maximum Tomorrow.

If not then sent a mail to In time spectrum office and they will let you know the exact status of you Cheque.

What does ECS refund means? Does it mean wire transfering (or directly crediting) the bank account with the refund amont?

If it is so then how come people are receiving hardcopy cheques at their residential address?

the no. for intimespectrum is busy since morning infact its busy most of the time. they have cheated as i have not got any shares even though applied for 960 shares . my pan copy has been confirmed submotted as i have submitted it at iciicbank nehru place which do not accept application without pan card copy so definetely somethingh wrong. can anyone advice what to do?
