Look at the dominance of LinkInTime as Registrar. All 5 ipo issues currently in line has LinkInTime as registrar. Once upon a time, Karvy used to hold that status, but they screwed up big time.
plss help me Anyone tell me .. Maine HUDCO ka IPO online SBI asba se feel kiya tha allotment nahi hua hai .. Abhi tak acount main amount credit nahi hua hai ..
if amount debited from your account, it means you have allotted shares. if amount still blocked then write to alankit at info @ alankit.com you may also call at 011-4254 1234 or 2354 1234
1. If you sell the shares allotted in IPO before 1 year from date of crediting into your DMAT account, they will be treated as short term capital gains and 15% tax to be paid under any such short term capital gains. Also, when you buy in secondary market and sell before 1 year, they are also treated as short term capital gains and Flat tax of 15% payable. Also, no exemptions for capital gains applicable. We have to pay flat 15% tax. we cant claim exemptions like our HRA/ Tax saving Investments like LIC etc. we have to pay flat 15% tax.. thats it.
2. yes, we should show as our income and tax payable. Even if we dont show ourselves as income and pay tax, we have to pay hefty fines it our PAN is tracked. Hope this clarifies your doubts reg short term capital gains. Regards, Pavan.
In continuation to above mail.. If you hold the shares allotted till 1 year and sell after an year, then we need not pay any tax as far as I know. Also, if you incur short term capital loss when shares get listed at discount price or if you buy in secondary market and sell for loss, you can show these losses against your income and need not pay tax.

This category belongs a"Niche" OR "one and only player" .(in listing space) so such stocks are liked by the investor community in general ,mostly FII who follows peter lynch. If we look at the fundamental its a good company on most of the fronts Debt free Free cash flow machine (very low capex requirement) Avg ROCE (2015-2017) ~20% Avg ROE (2015-2017) ~14% %NP~ above 40% very good) Sales growth rate~14% Profitability growth~25% Cash rich company ~278 cr Fairly priced at 18 times and around 3 time book value Question remains... if oversubscribed whether will get the allotment or no??
