a famous Englishman once said "the law is an ass..."ass as an english colloquial for donkey.
this new law for ipo allotment is a perfect example.all applicant be it rs 15000 or rs 2 lakh in same compartment and this will lead to the old malpractice of maintaining multiple demat accounts on the name of driver,gardener,watchman ,maid etc.

should not be difficult as these people may have declared income of less than 2 lakh or so and only demat need to be opened on their name with just your own sb a/c.

I am shocked by the current allocation policy,
I had applied for 4 full applications of 260 shares each and just got 20 shares in 1 of them and 0 in other 3.
If this policy is applicable for all other ipos, i will not apply for more than 1 or 2 lots in future.

Hello All,
I applied for 7-lots(140-shares), but I was not allotted any shares. Very much disappointed. Better try next time for some other good IPO(may be RINL). Thanks.

I had applied for 6,6,4,4,3 and 1 lot in different family members names
Even I am surprised this time.
This is d first time that I have not been allotted any shares out of 7 applications.
M bit dissapointed but anyways better luck next time yaar
