How do you plan to do that?

A single order will be either less than or equal to 2 lakh or it will be greater than 2 lakh.
So logically you can not place a single order both as HNI & Retail.

Second possibility is you apply through 2 accounts. In one account you will apply as HNI and in another you apply as retail.

But in case you have two account linked to single PAN they will be eventually rejected.

Third possibility is that you have multiple accounts of family members then you apply one as HNI and other as retail.

Fourth possibility you do not apply at all and do some study before entering the market.

Possibilities are endless...

Hi, Can anyone please help answer my query. Does applying for IPO in many accounts in the same family with same surnames, are there any chances of getting allotment?????????? or none will get the allotment because of same surnames????

does not matter what are the names. If you make more than 1 applications with the same PAN number all the applications will be rejected.

If i apply with different PANS with same surnames in the same family, are there chances of allotment or will be rejected because of same surnames??????????????
