@Jigar A some people are saying that multiple application ASBA is working on SBI yoni lite. But i have not used it. I have applied 11 individual applications via SBI ASBA. No third ASBA applications.

There is some confusion regarding minimum 14 lot allotment, it might be by lottery system but minimum will be 1 lot allotment per application. Where as in LIC ipo , it is clearly mentioned that in hni and share holders catagory, allotment will be on proportional basis .
As per my assumption .. Small NII Applicants may be maximum : 100000 ( 29 x ) lucky one will get 14 lots out of 29 Applicants. Big NII Applicants may be maximum : 12000. 1.7x Better chances to get allotment.
@lokes or anyone please tell Is it safe to go with 1 application in small HNI or should i go with retail only β¦..any chances of negative listing

very less chance of negative listing....so better go with small HNI category..... total HNI is 15% of ipo size and from them also half may sell half may not sell on listing so it won't create too much selling pressure.
Hi, has SBI stopped allowing to apply 5 IPO applications from one bank account via net banking? I tried today but I can able to apply just one application tagged with my PAN number, when I tired to apply for my family members, it shows an error - As per Regulatory guidelines, IPO applications can be done from self-account only.
issues is any HNI, even bid for maximum amount will get only 2 lakh worth of shares, that does incur losses for their borrowed funds, hence QIB will be decent , retail and NII will be same, as every applicant will apply 14 lot and 68 lot category that leads to over subscription, that leads to maximum of 2 lakh worth shares for any applicant. does it make sense for HNI to apply now in crores? answer is NO this over subscription also more of 14 lot & 68 lot categories. purely lottery. only advantage is lucky investors will receive 14 lots, instead of 1 lot like RII if by chance it lists at discount , this may lead to losses, as 1 lot loss multiples by 14 times :-)
As per new HNI rules for small and big HNI investors only 14 lots each will be allotted to the successful applicants in both the cases. Instead one lot each may be allotted to all subject to availability or by drawing lots if necessary. Any balance quantity may be allotted on proportionate basis. Investors parking huge amounts of above 2 lakhs and above 10 lakhs can hope to realize at least some gains instead of none. Let Investors Forums take up with SEBI to rethink and take appropriate action.

Total HNI subscription currently 11.18x any guesses for Small HNI - X BIG HNI - Y Until we know o/s in respective category it is all a blind play ?? I think the exchanges need to update their online shared bid details/data accordingly.

My guess Small HNI will be in the range of 8x-11x application wise Big HNI will be in the range of 1.75x-2.25x application wise

I have done some little analysis.... Below are the TOTAL no. of applications in HNI category in previous some of good ipos.....it may give some guidance to us for big category specially, since many new members will come in small hni category but relatively lesser new members will come in big hni category.
And importantly, around 23-30% of these total applications were from 14/15/16 lots means below 20 lots investors.

"Been doing HNI for many years and it has been a great ride. However, there is now lesser chance of allotment in HNI, compared to retail. Basically, it has become useless now. All the effort is pointless."
Makes sense...
Now there is no point in leaving huge idle fund in SB accounts simply for IPO applications.... actually some better workout could have been done by SEBI than the present proposal.
All these days we are happily participating in primary markets as they are relatively safer than secondary markets, but with this new move, we shall more vigilant in selecting the companies for HNI applications.
We cannot apply every IPO (by taking chance) same like earlier, now Risk ratio is high if got strucked in any bad IPO (high price / low quality / low subscription type... Needs to be very selective for HNI applications henceforth.

Now a GOOGLY Query :-
In the old rules, if HNI showed 7.8x, it meant 7.8 times of the total quota (which we then divided by 1 lot to get an idea of how many lots we will get).
Now with the new rules, is 7.8 x a multiple of a single lot of 15k of a multiple of 14 lots...
I mean if it says it's 14x say for NII and they consider it as 14x of the total number of shares... The actual oversubscription lot will be lower form wise as everyone has applied for 14+ lots...
Since we do not have subscription bifurcation of two HNI category, we can only understand that there are 3357 applicants who will receive 14 lot each if it is oversubscribed in small HNI category. Whereas in Big HNI 14 lots will be issued to 6715 applicants if this category is oversubscribed by 4.86x,assuming each applicant has applied 68 lots exactly. If there are subscription with greater than 68 lots then this 4.86x number will go up accordingly. So, in nutshell we can say that subscription times overall in NII does not indicate anything clearly. Thats y telling we are kept in blind due to non availability of bifurcation.

Oversubscription is not in lots, it is in value. In this issue NII quota is approximately 210 Crs. So, 8 times means bids worth 1680 Crs. received. Bids may be for multiple lots or at multiple price band. One can only guess by dividing the amount by per share price number of shares/lots.
Oversubscription reporting in old and new system is same. No change.
Number of times subscription shown in chittorgarh or other places once reaches 14 times, then in real terms it would be equal to 1X subscription maximum.
