I did not buy both of them listed today… yes shreni’s CPS shapers is a miss. No regrets… so many are coming up and some existing SME’s are available at good valuation

I need to clarify 2 doubts. Please help

1)How the selling and buying happening during price discovery time. For eg. by 9. AM-9.43 AM- lot of qty are exchanged. but if we give order for buy or sell, we will have to wait till price discovery means, 9.45 AM. So meanwhile how Lakhs of qts are confirming the transactions ?

2)During IPO listing some company are setting 90% as target(UC) and some companies are not setting and it may go beyond 2-3 times more than the price. So how that decision is taking and is it purely company or LM decision ?

1. As you said from 9-9.44 only price discovery happens, it is more like matching buyers and sellers and no transaction involved.
Assume 100 is the discovery price so during this time all buyers above 100 and sellers below 100 are matched and the matching volume reflects. And at 9.45 the actual transaction happens at the discovery or equilibrium price.
This is the reason of continuous change in discovery price till 9.44

2.its not depending on the company or LM .
The difference is based on the exchange BSE or NSE listing

Some one from top level broking community told that cps can be open above 200 or even 225 premium as big investors are intreted in the scrip for long term.
Anyone else having this news? I may try to take 2-3 lots in pre op

Why would anyone share news to increase competition?

Seems like the news was authentic...listed at 450...huge premium

Depends upon the listing, your portfolio value (total) and liquidity of funds. So, can’t comment exactly. You need to check and validate as per your own data. I will mostly stay away from this until it either lists flats or dips significantly after listing. 😊

Big Zero out of 17 retail applications.

This whole thing is a big illusion.in past 18 months I have applied in almost every good ipo in 5 account.only been allotted 2 single retail app.i have applied in different categories with applications range from 2 lacs to 75 lacs.never got anything specially in sme.no one knows what is happening and just blindly believe these allotment. rbl bank and idfc have to be the worst bank to apply ipo as in past 3 years I have never got a single allotment in these bank applications. 3in1 accounts are the best way to apply ipo as I have got 95% of my ipo allotment in those account.

Allotted 1 lot here in retail.....first time allotted in highly subscribed ipo in retail...
