hi, contacted burnpur, he goes on saying that refund send through speed post , asking for the date and receipt no he says he dont have . what a rope trick. it is high time to take action against such companies we need to get penal fees if such provision exist in SEBI rules.

all these registrars are making us- the retail investors - fool by retaining our money. They don't do this with institutional investors, because they know they have to go to court. SEBI is sleeping. God only can help

they are playing with peoples money.

friends please do file the case against the company at your regional ROC(registrar of companies) offices also.

I have also got the same reply that they have despatched the refund on 29th through speedpost. They even provided me my refund chq no. But when i asked for the speedpost ack no, they
couldn't provide it. Then how we can believe their statement.
Speedpost takes max 3-4 days.

I applied your IPO.But you didn`t allot.today onwards money can`t return.This type of activities is very wirst.

Should one write a mail to Burnpur/Niche before logging a complaint on the SEBI complaint page? I called Burnpur yesterday and some one there told me they had dispatched the refunds on 30th through "registered post". Probably this is why the delay, because reg post can take upto 10 days for receipt.

i had tried contacting Burnpur Cement twice during last week n this this week. Both the times they said that we will be receiving the refund in two days time but the two days has never come yet. I just contact them even now at 0341-2250665 and I hear the reply that they have already sent it on 28th thru speedpost...I really dunno whats happening

Just in. .i ave talked on number 03322357271 and they have said that refund would be recieved by tommorow or day after tommorrow. They have dispatched it on 29/december/2007. I hope we will recieve refund before future capital ipo closes
