please recheck your information ... "nse ki price band approx 4500 rs per share" ... Don''t think so ...

Please note:

On November 24, 2016 NSE allotted Bonus shares in the ratio: 1:10

On December 13, 2016 NSE has sub-divided the equity shares having a face value of Rs. 10/- each into equity shares having a face value of Rs.1/- each

Hence, every 1 share of NSE held on September 30, 2016 is now equivalent to 11 shares after Bonus & Split.

Eagleye... below post makes sense. what is your opinion ? shall we go for atleast listing gain, irrespective of BSE''s losing market share to NSE or longterm outlook ?

Your logic is good.. and i agree with completely.. Only thing where I am not clear is whether BSE IPO is a quality issue or not... because it has steadily lost market share and "can be" attributed as a slowly dying entity.. NSE already controls 80-90% of the trading volumes and its share will only go up as we move forward.. One needs to look at this dimension as well before putting money..

We all will be able to make a better decision on this after seeing the subscription levels on last day..

BSE has no comparison with NSE which is a Giant in all parameters. If it loses trading market share at the present rate, soon it will become a holding Company of few subsidiaries. Another challenge will be the newly promoted exchange which will take years to breakeven. Hope they will set the IPO at a realistic price band.

@ evergreen r** di ke , are you blind ? don''t you see the question asked in which language ?
& by the way if you know the answer , why don''t you dare to answer it rather than going slang ?
I think FORUM MODULATOR has kicked out your id '' AMAREVER '' forever because of your filthy hindi language, that is why you are jealous. Advise you to use burnol or any other piles cream ! ! ! for your instant relief.
Also you need some basic education in your national language . Start learning now ! ! !

hi fellow investors,
just a small point to share wid my fellow listing gains investors:

* for QUALITY ISSUES, FU*K VALUATIONS (don''t even care about it).
* always try to assess demand and supply instead of valuations.
eg: assume 30% of the allotted retail investors and all the HNI category investors sell on the first day(do your own analysis using past data)that''s on the supply side.
and
look at the volumes and block deals in the pre-open and closely track the volumes on the listing day- that''s on the demand side.

listing day trade is not a rocket science, just try to evaluate demand and supply scenario that''s it.

if at all you are a fundamental/ long term investor then i wonder why you wanna buy companies which the promoter itself is selling/ companies with high possibility of cooked up balance sheet.

for the current BSE ipo: go hard on it, QIB''s go crazy on high quality issues(look at sheela foams). there are only 2 companies in this business NSE,BSE i''m pretty sure big bulls will rage up to pick their piece in this limited edition issue.

@any issue price 30% listing gain can be easily ruled out

all the best :)
