Since the subscription in Retail category is more than 1 times, at most you will get one lot; that''s too if you are lucky to get through the lottery process

The reason for huge retail applications, may be (repeat) may be, HNI''s are buying retail applications and applying through retail quota. If a hni applies through hni quota for 200 lots, he might get just 25-35 shares, but if applied in retail through 200 applications, they stand to get allotement in roughly 50 to 60 applications which is 900 shares with same investment (of one hni application of 200 lots)
If 1500 hnis apply through retail (each buying 200 applications) there will be 3 lakhs extra applications in retail.
But then you will never know the truth, which is untraceable.

Dear sir you mathematically correct but reality diffrent mange 200 dmat with 200 bank account it is much difficult and risky instead applied own hni account

Dear MKB, from intermediaries, there so many pancard holders below taxable income, or from kostak at a cost, many ppl are also renting out their demat a/cs..... they can make all sorts arrangements.

Truth is equity cult in India is increasing,I don''t think HNI will bother to collect 200 PANS and offline transfer there after. Technically it becomes buy at price on day one, and corresponding short term capital gain needs to be paid by seller. (IPO Applicant)
