Ravi-for small IPO , i m not doing any analysis and watching the sub fig on the last day, just before the cut off time of 2.00 PM. If it will be within 2-3 times range, i will apply expecting to manage max 20% loss on opening bell (Refer blog 20).
But for Rushil-i missed to capture 70% gain on listing day and 100% gain thereafter and got out with 20% gain. At that time u were not here and i missed yr advice
Apply 10k, 20k 50k as per your risk appetite. Let us make strategy on listing day.

Is anybody giving commission on application on 1st day or 2nd day ?
Is it on First Come First Serve basis ?
Kuber/S Gupta/ Sampath/Money Transfer- why u guys are not posting ur comments ?
Could you please tell us your view on this Brooks Lab IPO?
Thank you, Sampath

High risk investors (Apetite to bear 10%-20% loss) can go for this issue. I will look at the subscription fig on the last day and if it is within the range of 1-2 times overall, i will go for some small amount. If it will cross 3 times- i will avoid since putting huge money may lead to more allotment to me if some thing is cooked behind the screen.
This is not worth of keeping in portfolio for long because of high valuation/small co etc. Small pharma co are trading within PE of 5-6 whereas The price band fixed is within the PE of 13-14 times.
Only point of applying is of small issue size which may give some gain due to operators presence.
This is pathetic and highly priced IPO. Capital market rating is 20/100.
*************
The company recorded 17% growth in net sales to Rs 52.54 crore in FY 2011. OPM inclined by 130 basis points to 17.6%, resulting in operating profit to increase by 26% to Rs 9.27 crore. Finally, there was 35% growth at PAT level to Rs 6.99 crore. There was no major increase in sales the past two years (sales in FY 2009 were Rs 44.93 crore) as it decided to concentrate on products/companies offering more margin.
At the issue price of 90-100, the EPS for FY 2011 (on post-IPO equity) works out to Rs 4.1-4.3 and PE 22-23 times. This is high for a small formulation contract manufacturer. The sector (Pharma-Indian-Formulations) TTM P/E is 9.3
Don't apply in this IPO, pricing are so aggressively. Insted of giving application on the listing day buy with strict stoploss. You can get enough gain if operates playing game in such small cap IPO.
