@Prakash Nayak Ji Possible, But even first day crying will become LAUGHING in disguise as i booked SHORT TERM GAINS recently and it can be set off. ये आंसू भी खुशी के आंसू बन सकते हैं।चित भी मेरी पट भी मेरा
@Prakash: Everyone would have completd their first cry during birth unless the person is from other planet.
Not everyone applies for listing gain, need to have patience, discipline more than skill in the market to create wealth. Honasa also listed at par and went below listing price and then gave 60% gains from IPO price.
@ Lokesh Chiru. I said first cry on listing day (means first cry on that particular day). Also not everyone applies in IPOs for Long Term either. Agree to disagree.😁
@Prakash: There is nothing like first cry on listing day or last laugh on expiry day :). Deal with emotions to make money in stock market.
That's why we have option to apply or not to apply and to sell or hold if alloted during IPO. Everyone has to consider his own risk appetite and invest accordingly.
So for long term investor this first cry logic is not applicable. Do note that one cannot predict exact bottom to buy or sell at all time high but many wants to do that and in that process they won't buy so they cannot sell and ultimately lose lots of oppourtunities to earn money.
Note: Time in the market is more important than timing the market as u cannot time it:)

I asked an astrologer whether I should apply in FirstCry IPO. He asked me to answer three questions: 1. What is brown skin caused by being in the sun called? 2. What is the 5th month of year? 3. How many days in that month?
@newgen consultancy Sir still IPO not fully subscribed also @10am. What is your final call after 2pm, do let us know. Whether to apply FF or just sit back with retail application.
@newgen consultancy Dear Bro. of any one in penal please tell me X hand name of Newgen where we can get more information coz in this name i cant not find it there are many with same name.
@newgen consultancy Thank to ur analysis, I got more confidence and applied 4 bhni instead of 1/2. Good luck to all allotte, hoping for atleast 20% listing.
Yes, one should have either of Bajaj Twins ( Bajaj Finance and Bajaj Finserve) in demat as of record date (RHP filing date) to be eligible for shareholders quota.
@Chhote Lal sir, I forgot but I read somewhere that Bajaj finserv will be needed not bajaj finance, to eligible for shareholders category. Can you please confirm and verify?
@Pratham savaliya Chhote lal bhau is right, you can have either of them..
But, make sure to buy at least one working day before RHP filing (record date), so as soon as possible, because no one knows when will RHP be filed..😊😊
@Dhil One share is enough, either of bajaj finserv or bajaj finance

Today, bought Ola shares @-1 rs. Premium to square off my selling @13 rs. That means, people were ready to sell the IPO by incurring loss. This i think in similar situations, i don't think it deserves premium more than 5% on listing, if market situations do persist.
What do Gurus, Mentors, contributors and other esteemed members have say on this ?
Yes obviously .Both Shareholder such as Bajaj Finance and Bajaj Finserve are eligible to apply under share holder category for upcoming ipo i. e.Bajaj Housing Finance.

As for the Anchors here and so much of buzz created around the "Carry Trade Issue" from Japan yet Nomura is present again and Softbank is obviously there previously.
In present scenario, none of the IPOs from main board appear attractive for listing gain purposes. Rather, one may also look at stock specific opportunities in secondary markets.
bhai saheb, Ratan Tata ji k pass 77,900 share hai @cost of Rs 84.72 per share. Woh bhi ipo mein OFS mein bech rahe hai. He will not be an investor after ipo
One of the reasons for the company being in loss is the promoter's salary of Rs 200 crore.

You seems to be interpreting it wrong.
First, their are no promoters here. Second, the MD and CEO, which is founder has renumeration 200cr in 2023 and 100cr in 2024. These includes share based payments. The salary is ~50 mil rupees for 2024. Check 354 page in rhp. The founder reduced his stake in 2023 for some 302 cr (as per news articles)
