so in a nut shell when do we decide with what amt/ lot ( upper cap being 2L in amt for SH category, I believe) to apply in SH category to increase success % of allotment.

There is no data available on break up of subscription figures under SH lots while applying to take a call. All you have is subscription figures of various portion (BHNI, SHNI, Retail etc). If you have option of applying a single SH and funds are limited to Rs 2L only, best option would be to apply 1 retail lot and balance (Max) in SH quota. This way, you have chances to get allotment under SH as well as Retail. All the Best 👍

Better look into Tata tech shareholder boa as it will be similar to Tata tech(not the subscription) but with highest cap of 2l

I have 25 Lakhs with 10 demat accounts each having 1 share of BLS

Last time even after applying 20 lakhs in Tata Tech Ipo of shareholder category in 10 accounts
I hardly got 3 lots of 15k each

N even I missed IREDA golden opportunity

That's why I think it's better to apply in Small HNI
Even 1 allotment is SHNI is worth it

What do you think is better?

Fully agreed. HNI application will be worth it if alloted. You may put 10 applications of SHNI and balance in SH. All the best 👍

​@pankaj bharat In SH Category its proportionate basis for allotment but since it will get oversubscribed, it becomes proportionate lottery in a way.

You can apply both Retail + SH or HNI + SH

Proportionate lottery means if there are only 2 lots for 30 applicants and out of these 30 applicants 2 are of 14 lots applicants and 28 are of single lot applicants. In this scenario 4 groups will be made. 14 lots applicant one person will be considered one group and single lot applicant 14 persons will be considered as one group. Firstly lottery will be done among these 4 groups. If one or two of the 14 lot applicant is winner then it will get one lot. But if another two groups of single lot applicants are winner then there will be further lottery among 14 applicants. Then one of those 14 applicants will get one lot.

They need to follow the rules. As avg profit in last 3 years is less than 15 Cr

​@Aditya Maheshwari Thank You. I too have SBI Corporate banking account for HUF. however, bank does not provide ATM / Debit card to set UPI for IPO. Perhaps it has been stopped couple of years back.
Can you pls suggest how are u able to apply in the IPO via UPI?

I would prefer HDFC over SBI if your purpose is to apply for IPO.. In case of non allotment, money is released by HDFC around 11 am however SBI takes its own time which can be 4 or 5pm. Hence you cannot use the fund for IPO if it is last day. Also on last day, you have time till 3.30 pm in HDFC to apply vs 2 pm in SBI if you are going with ASBA option...

​@Seth. you may be true, however, to earn money we have to respect the trend(market) without bothering the underlying cause. there are hundreds of underpriced stocks available in the market. By entering these stocks or holding them for longer we can satisfy our ego but can't earn money. hard truth, prune your laggards frequently and mercilessly. The counterview is welcome.

BLS E-SERVICES IPO - Shareholder Limit in the IPO is < 2,00,000.

​@Smile✍️ @IPOTraders But eligible shareholders are only 1.2lk till December and available app in sh approx 22k. it mean allotment in sh category in bls is better than tata tech where eligible sh holder were 42lk against 2lk application

off-topic: sorry; can anybody guide me on where to get the composite application form (CAF) number? i am not able to apply the Grasim right issue without that. From where to get it? it is not mentioned anywhere in the right entitlement letter, instead a reference number is mentioned. are both the same, pls guide me.

Try what MuStrFc has said and if it still does not work then contact the registrar to the issue or the bank, they will guide you..

​@Nifty Singh Check if you have recd the mail, which is normally sent to all the shareholders as on the record date, informing about their holding, the number of shares to which they are entitled to apply as rights. This mail might contain the CAF details that you need.

Tata Technologies Results:

-Net Profit up 14.7% at ₹170.2 cr vs ₹160.4 cr (QoQ)

-Revenue up 1.6% at ₹1,289.5 cr vs ₹1,269.2 cr (QoQ)

-EBIT up 11.3% at ₹209.5 cr vs ₹188.2 cr (QoQ)

-Margin at 16.3% vs 14.8% (QoQ)

-Revenue: ₹1,289.5 cr (1.6% QoQ)

-EBIT: ₹209.5 cr (11.3% QoQ)

-Margin: 16.3% (from 14.8% QoQ)

Post quarterly results, counter has not shown any upmove at all. Appears, results were already factored in.

No confirm allotment, mostly expected to be oversubscribed. Allotment will be on lottery bases but chances will more for 13/14 lots as compared to 1 lot in SH Quota

Shareholders quota controversy ends here ,
In RHP they mentioned "subject to applicable limits" at end and limit mentioned on page 426 as received by LM so
2,00,000 rs is maximum limit for shareholders quota is final verdict.

Regarding 13 or 14 lot, since shares requires to be applied at cut off maximum 13 lots can be applied. Others please share your views

​@One Man Opinion Under SH, one can apply 14 lots despite selecting cut-off price, which net of 7 Rs discount makes the bid value less than Rs 2L
