Ipo Application through upi is very cumbersome, not so fluent like asba . I personally have no faith in it. And sometime questions like yours are also very difficult to answer because no body clearly knows about it.

​@VIKRANT BALUNI It will go thru as you didn't accept the mandate in first case. It's always good to cancel the bid if some glitches in accepting mandate, understandable here you couldn't because it was HNI. But in the end you have done only one appln bid successfully in second situation.

Demat matters for the Shareholder category, since you need to apply from the same demat account where you hold "BLS International" share(s) on the record date (23rd Jan, 2024). Otherwise, your application will be rejected.

Yes, only PAN matters. Demat doesn't matter.

​@GMxtraP  As was the case in Tata Tech shareholder category, PAN is same across all demat accounts. Having one share in any one demat account is sufficient. So basically, share as on record date is checked on PAN Basis and not on demat basis.

One more reason… Bank submitted SH as retail 🤣

Only pan number matters. Here i meant to say is putting Wong demat number not different demat number .

With all due respect demat also matters if the demat is a joint Ac. There, sequence of holding has to be exactly the same as where we have our parent company share..

@aaru , not possible what you are saying. If it is than it will be rejected. Why bank did not give Rs 7 discount while applying. It may be technical glitch.

​@Aaru Yes I heard many yes bank holders faced this issue.
Application likely not to be rejected I guess but if it's rejected then you can file for compansation because bank did mistake.
You can first mail to yes bank asba or nodal team and then to sebi with application number and all details.
So not to worry you will get your profit at end as per regulations.

Yes, there is no share holder quota mentioned in DRHP but still no harm to buy 1 Fortis.

For BLS also SH quota was not mentioned in DRHP, but what happened in RHP you all know.

​@Basuvr  Yes in case of bls e service nothing mention about share quota and in cyient dlm mention in DRHP but remove from RHP so we should buy 1 Fortis inspite of any outcome currently it trading at around 420 bucks

The company cannot bring shareholder quota suddenly in rhp without mentioning in drhp...
There has not been any instance like this before...

There are many instances where sh category was mentioned in drhp but removed in rhp...but not reverse...

Also take Tata technologies as example...there was no SH quota in drhp, but they wanted it in rhp, so they had filed an addendum to drhp and informed before hand that there will be sh quota in rhp!

​@kishenharendra  My earlier comment was on the basis of discussion on relevant IPO page. Now I have myself seen DRHP dated 31.3.23 of Aeroflex on BSE website. There is mention of shareholder quota on page 1. But on page 291 ie offer structure there are only 3 columns QIB, NII and retail. There should be fourth column shareholder which is missing. I guess it is a mistake on page 291 of DRHP. Thanks

All these are unnecessary discussions,
we should immediately buy the stock if we want benefit of shareholder quota as @Basuvr  said.While making applications all talk that "I have made 10*44 lot, 12*36 lot" and so on, but to buy a single share of ₹429, each one is thinking 100 times.
And after RHP filled, if with SH quota,
"Oh, nobody told me."
"I forgot to buy."
and blah blah blah.....
Fortis healthcare ही है, कोई MRF तो नहीं.
Just buy a share, it will cost ₹429 + 30/40 brokerage for each account. (Fortis healthcare is not going to be zero in near future)

chance of shareholder quota in Agilus Diagnostics IPO is quite less as it is no there in DRHP. If this has happened ( not in DRHP but in RHP) in past, may please provide such info.

Go by logic. there is almost NIL chance that share holder quota is not there in DRHP and pops up in RHP.

Try DHAN , it has 0 AMC and has trade charges same Zerodha (so brokerage is also low).

I personally use Dhan and Fyers. Dhan is better in terms of withdrawal. Fyers takes a day extra. Otherwise in terms of experience and cost both are almost similar

In terms of discount broker, Angel One is a very good option. Everything seems fluid.
They might pester you with calls and offers but can be ignored via their in-app settings.

Upstox, Groww has missing features, Zerodha very often nowadays experiences downturn, same is case with Motilal.

ICICI Direct for Full fledged broker is a very good option with their neo plan that helps reduce brokerage.

AMC is just one aspect, if we get inclined towards zero amc, rest assured the broker will miss out on something here and there.

No one broker will be ever perfect, just that one would look better compared to other

​@PiyushGupta tax liability will be with you on the profit earned by selling stocks even from your wife's account. However, if your wife sells these stocks and reinvests them in her account; then in future the tax liability will rest with her.

So if father gifts share to son then tax liability on son account right?

Let's say reliance bought at 2000 by father im his demat and currently there is 800 rs gain at CMP of reliance ,

Now father gift to son so 800 rs gain would be in son account and not on father.

And this way capital gain tax on father will ne reduced by transferring to son

Btw… LTCG or STCG tax has to be paid no matter whether the person comes under taxable bracket or not. So if you are gifting to save tax then no use. But if your motive is something else then carry on…

The tax liability is on you only even if you gift the share to your wife and sell from her account. T reduce on the tax liability, you can gift to your children (If they are Major) or gift to your Parents and then sell from their account. This is helpful if they dont have any tax liability on on lower tax slab.

I think it's not possible as your 14 is considered as a shni category...

As you have already accepted mandate so fund is blocked and you need to wait for fund to unblock for the next mandate.

In Share Holder Category allow to apply 13 lot only.

You can also modify it online

Considering subscription, 13 or 14 will not make much difference. So suggest you to keep your 13 lot application as it is.

If you change it to 14 and supose you didn't recd mandate before 5 pm then it will be a problem .

Where to find this kind of shareholders quota information earlier ? Because this time the news came on record date so i was unable to buy.

Newgen means Newgen consultancy. Really he has given new vision to see stock market. Unfortunately, he is not so active now-a-days..
