As someone who is heavily invested in FMCG and who regrets not applying to Adani Wilmar every day (I cry for 5 minutes every time AWL rises by 5% in a single session), I'm applying to gain 1 retail allotment here. I own almost all FMCG stocks (except TCPL and GCPL), so listing pop doesn't matter to me. Thanks.
Look at Britannia numbers, Bikaji will post similar numbers. Q2 was great quarter for snacking category with oil prices falling. Bikaji is one stock to rule the market for 10 years. Consumer stock at just 3 times sales is a steal. Buy Buy Buy.. Applied for 9 lakh rupees in S-HNI
There is no comparison with BRITANNIA INDUSTRIES LTD. It will be like Gold and Iron. My personal opinion is that it will be listed either at par or less that IPO price. it will behave like CARTRADE. I have withdraw my all the 8 Family Applications of Bikaji and & of Medanta. At least, Medanta is having a strong Brand. It may be next KIMS. But Bikaji is worthless.
Considering ipo allocation for bHNI is 5% and for retail is 35%, if there is similarly number in bHNI category and retail category, will the changes of allotment is better is retail than that of bHNI ?

Nithin, bhni subs shows total amount blocked. Here its 2.15x right now, we need to divide it by 5 since you apply 10lk+ application in this category but still you will get 2lk application. ( the above assumes everyone applies exactly 10lk rs). So 2.15x/5= ~0.4. Hence everyone will be definitely alloted here .But its 12pm now, this figure will change rapidly. And bhni will always have better chances, higher the application amount lower the crowd
@ujwalg, in bHNI, i thought there is no need to apply for more than 10L in bHNI

Bhni shows amount wise subs not application wise!! Hence we need to divide by 5 Yes you are right, there is no need to apply more than 10lk, but people apply 40,50lk too for firm allotments

It is now a lottery system irrespective of amounts put in BHNI. Moreover, if many applications are not clubbed in a particular lot, then, it may not be considered for a lottery. So, it is always better to apply for 10lk category at max.
@lokes ji, pls share your opinion on rest of the IPO

I have applied 1 full retail application in fusion as per my review which i posted on fusion page mentioning negatives and positives there.... Regarding global, i will apply 1 retail full application and in bikaji i will apply 2 shni application mostly.... Rest will check later....
Can tell few companies which had IPO and is in dip and good time to buy. Fundamentally good long term stocks.
I will do my own research. But I don't time to picks stock. If I have shortlisted ones it's easy to do research

Dear arunArun sir , I have good amount of money invested in all the shares mentioned by you except RVNL ... but it is testing my patience for long ...hope the past three days rally act as a breakthrough for all the above stocks ... one more good point is all (HUDCO , IRFC and IRCON ) are good dividend paying company ... But follow up rally is missing most of the time ... hope this time it is different ...
No point in applying in Bikaji. Aplready listed good companies like Bector Foods, Railtel, Heranba, Johnson Control, GE T&D, Sanofi, New India Assurance are better to buy
Massive compettion from players like Bikano,prabhuji,haldiram,snactac,bhikaram,..apart from huge local cheap product not ruled out
