Gold rate corrected by almost 3% today to value of about $ 2239. For it to appreciate to $ 3000 or by 34%, it will take some time. It surely can reach those levels but not in any hurry, it is matter of time or rather some more time.

Absolutely. Do not understand what big promise/success this counter has shown that many are rejoicing. Premium of 12 or 13% on closing now may actually vanish to single digit on listing. Let's wait and watch.

​@Seth. While in absolute values wise, QIB data you mentioned looks impressive for Bharti Hexacom v/s other IPOs, it will not be fair comparison or ranking so to say. Overall IPO size and quota allocated for QIBs are two other important factors if apple to apple comparison is to be made.

Tata Tech IPO size was 3042 Cr and QIB quota was 17.33%

Bharti Hexacom size was 4275 Cr and QIB quota was 30%

JSW Infra size was 2800 Cr and QIB quota was 30%

IREDA size was 2150 Cr and QIB quota was 19.94%

Technically speaking, QIB subscription figures of JSW Infra works out to be almost 20% more than the Bharti Hexacom.

Luckily, I got allotments in 7 out of 9, not counting Hexacom. And am holding a few shares of each of these.

And all these IPOs came in a year. IPO market is evolving

The point being that one can only weigh the positives vs negatives and decide what to do. There is an element of uncertainty in stock markets always.

There's no guarantee of returns in any stock. when i applied in sbi card everyone including me predicted the stock would give nice returns and i also got allotment but then came lockdown news regarding covid and the shares were listed in discount. Even that time the qib subscription was almost 60x. There's always a 1% chances of shares listing at discount.

Or

Well no one is wrong here.
Newgen want to promote his other account which is fair, since he researches extensively and exclusively on each ipo.
Admin wants to curb on sharing other social media IDs , since if they are allowed, the tele.. stock recc. gangs would bombard this forum.

"give us pass, and won't work out" words hurts a little.
anyways I respect your decision. he might come back and people would start asking again his x id fearing they might miss out information in the event of his being banned again, and that would go against rules of this forum, that what I feel. people should figure out his Id to follow him there that's the only way left.

meanwhile what about people promoting their IPO, on Teerth gopicon IPO page comment no. 3 ,5 6 and 8 clearly are cmts of marketing of their IPO , (of course applicants would decide themselves but still why allow such unpaid promotion and not implementing comment can be done after some days of joining sort of rule)

Plz unlock Newgen consultancy.

Chittorgarh forum is much beyond individual.
So Chittorgarh should not feel insecurity with Popularity from @Newgen.

His presence will always add value to this forum and its members.

Just a suggestion, Any message by Newgen account should be approved by Admin. This way Admin can make the necessary changes if required and CG members will not loose Gems like Newgen ! I hope this ends the deadlock.

Newgen or any other member for that matter, should not be allowed if he / she breaks CG forum rules on regular basis.

I agree with Mr Singh that this is an IPO discussion forum not meant for secondary market. Further, 90% tips for secondary market I receive these days are working irrespective of source.

As far as IPOs are concerned most of the IPO experts give their final verdict on last day based on prevailing GMP & susbscription expectation, that too with riders like : high risk takers, short term long term etc (there is nothing wrong in that), If you have look at the past recommendations of IPO experts, many have gone wrong example : - SRM, Jyothi CNC, GPT Hospitals and many more. My understanding is that no one can predict actual listing price perfectly on regular basis. No one can predict actual short term and long term targets perfectly on regular basis because there are several factors which decide listing price, short term and long term price movement. Further, one round of a bear market will show the ground reality to all the long term holders including me.

Even in Hexacom, initially everyone was negative, as the GMP started to rise, apply recommendations started to pour in, that too with a word of caution like " high risk takers - for small gain- for long term, sell n apply - etc. In reality, the current GMP, after IPO closure, is around 90 rupees and if this one lists as per GMP or above than the correct recommendation should have been "Apply FF".

I dont want to undermine value of recommendations and advises of IPO experts, But I fully agree with Mr Singh that too much weightage should not be given to a member who doesnot respect law of the land.

I am a reasonably old member of this forum (mostly silent). I have seen many IPO experts coming and leaving this forum, but the forum is relevant due to its discipline.

Dear CG Admin, Please ensure same rules for every one. Newgen is a respected member but dont allow him unlessf he makes a declaration that he will abide by the forum rules.

Newgen had gained popularity and then tried to get people follow his x. His intention was not good. Initially he gained popularity and later he may misuse that to jack stock price as people will blindly follow his advice.
Anyway I don't want to argue on his intention, but he broke this forum rules twice.
Admin did right by blocking him.
