Agree, there is a need for specialised forum (Running type) for general queries whether it is HUF, minor account opening, how to apply, IPO timing, tax related queries, etc.
The script specific forum messages become stale within 1-2 days of listing and meaningful messages & experiences of senior members carrying lot of knowledge wealth gets perished within days.

We tried to set up another page for general discussions, but that didn't work. People are posting their questions on pages where they feel addressed (where there are a lot of other messages).

​@Admin @ Chittorgarh.com It is understandable that members will keep raising queries of all types in page wherever the action is happening. However, it was suggested earlier also that a section like FAQs on commonly asked general questions be created with responses from your expert team which will certainly be a great resource for awareness as sought by many members specially the new ones. CG forum already is a great repository of all kind of IPO related information and another FAQ on question of general nature if created and updated from time to time will be a great help. Anytime such questions of general nature are asked by anyone in IPO page, members will advise the concerned to check the FAQ section on same.

What admin said is correct that members are still posting their queries in the ipo page but what they can do now is while new member signup they can make such rules and tell the users before they sign up that only comment respective to that ipo should be posted on that page and general queries in general forum or they'll be blocked from using the forum for 1 or 2 days.

​@Piyuush It is public forum and people will have all kinds of queries. It will not be prudent or practical to firm up such rules for blocking the member just because some different question other than specific IPO is asked. A separate FAQ section on questions and answers may be of help.

1. Is there any broker which offers opening HUF demat account online?

2. Can HUF be opened by two members of family? (Husband and Wife)

3. Will tax benefits on HUF continue once UCC is implemented?

4. Why third party applications continue to get allotment if it has been banned?

5. Which banks offer funding of IPOs from FD account?

6. How to open Minor Demat Account? Which bank and broker is recommended for same?

7. What is tax applicability provision for gains earned on IPOs/shares in case of minor child or spouse with no other income? Will the gains be clubbed with parent's/spouse's income for ITR filing?

8. If one transfer funds from own account to parent account or vice-versa for IPO applications, will there be any issue related to income tax provisions?

9. What is latest GMP? Where can I get this information?

10. What is meaning of terms like Fixed, Sub1, Sub2 related to Gray Markets? How to sell in Gray Market?

These are few of the queries, I could recollect for now. Request other members too to contribute such inputs for proposed FAQ section on General Queries. Thanks 🙏

How to sell in pre open during ipo listing

​@KGSKIPO Limit order before 9:45 below settle price for sell , for buy above settle price. track price before settle its continuously fluctuate place your limit order accordingly. better place or modify order between 9:40 to 9:44

I think one should look at Median measure and not Average as the latter will be distorted because of some extreme numbers (in cases of Tata Tech, BLS Int, some SME ipos)

FY24 for me was Median return 24%, Average return 44% (this assumes selling allotted shares at listing price).
I have not deducted Bank interest but one can assume around 5% cost.

Responses to such questions should be avoided.

If someone really wants to get an answer (instead of finding a short cut by asking people here, which even can be misleading) then they can go through historical data on Chittorgarh and understand it.

​@Krishnakjha On Wednesday, only the minutes of meeting get released, and that offers commentary more or less what Chair Powell already said in last conference when the decision was made. Nothing major. More interesting is what other Fed members speak in the mean time

I second this query. Mr. Gupta's humorous comments bought a much needed laugh after going through other dry comments and repetitive queries.
