Atlast I got the refund cheque from BGR today- Rajapalayam; Tamil Nadu

BGR Energy will listing as on 3-1-2008 Thursday.
it will first listing of new year.
give a surprise or sedness for whole of the year.
it will like 750 against listing price 480.
profit something 270 for 14 share allotment.
low allotment will loss of interest our money.

retail investor will discount @5% on price band.

For most of the IPO's the listing price will be more than the actual price what we bought thru IPO. So thru secondary market(what you said the next seconds it lists) will have lesser margin of profit than thru IPO price. For BGR market experts expect it to list around double 800 whereas IPO price was 480. Hope this helps!!

i entered trading market recently and donno abt the ipos.I want to know the procedure of listing of companies.i mean is it like the company decides the listing price and puts in the market?if so one who trade at first second will earn if any of the share holder is ready to sell rite?then it is wise to keep watcching market from the sec it starts?EXPERTS please suggest

No doubt you can choose sharekhan, if you give a cheque for 50k as initial payment then they make the brokerage as 30ps for 100 rs for all deliveried. And there advises are very good. The main thing is I like there portfolio, which maintains all the scripts with average price(including brokerage and tax) which helps you to know your current P/L status. I could not find this service with any other broker site.
I hold Icici,Kotak,Indiabulls,Sharekhan,reliance money but I suggest sharekhan :)
