Dear Buzz,
Your arguement does not hold much water, assuming I get 14 shares, and there is a premium of rs400, I earn Rs5000+ on an investment of 1 lakh in 3 weeks, what better return do you expect!!!
235. buzzz |   Link |  Bookmark | December 10, 2007 5:02:59 PM
AVOID BGR....
Surprised?
I would still recommend - AVOID!!!
the stock will get OVER-subscribed by such huge amounts in RETAIL segment that you migh end up getting NOTHING after blocking even 100K for 21 days. The only bright light can be the retail figures on the final day by 12 pm. If it has crossed 3-4 times, then DONT APPLY as by the end of day, it will reach minimum 18-20 times which means lottery.
And even if you get anything, you will get shares worth 6-7K which wont earn you more than 2-3K. So go for better options like Brigade and earn decent returns.
Thnx
BUZZZ

can anybody please suggest me that i which order should i apply in the following ipos which are currently open for subscription.viz.
bgr
brigade
transformer
please also give your suggestion keeping in mind the chance of allotment & prevailing premium for that issue. As an investor i would like to maximise my return so kindly give your advice considering the above mentioned aspect.
one thing is that how so ever good the issue may be but if i dont get an allotment then it is of no use & unnecessarily i will be blocking my funds for 20 days.
so please give ur advice considering this point
thanks in advance

For 228
My analysis if you apply for the folloeing:
Expected subscription in retail & opening premium:
1. BGR Energy :
subscription: 20 to 24 times,
approx premium: 80 to 90%
chance of getting a min lot:(no of lots applied)*100/25 %

2. Transformers & Rectifiers:
Subscription: 40 times
approx premium: 70 to 80%
chance of getting a min lot:(no of lots applied)*100/40 %

3. Brigade Enterprises
Subscription: 4 to 6 times
approx premium: 20 to 30%
chance of getting a min lot:(no of lots applied)*100*4/16 %

Friends you all right. ICICI Direct.com is really very bad and you deal with them you will not only loose your paint but chances of saving your underwear are very slim.

All in my workplace were pissed with the ICICI direct bad performance. Finally few of us opened RelMOney and some other in indiainfoline and Indiabulls. These are fine, Indiainfoline and Indiabulls are good performancewise.

RelMoney is not a Gr8888 one, but you can consider in it as it`ll save some money in case your volume are good.Performance is OK though there are many irritating parts in The software [Done By Syntel :( ]. Will ge the ID quickly

i opition is if you have 1.70 why so take risk.in Transfomer retail qty around 8.25 lacs. so for 1 lac chage of allotment is very less.
And in bgr if you invest 1 lac your chance is high for allotment. both are excellent. gmp are some likely to 390-410.
now you decide what to do?
Happy investing.

Hi KK,

Thanks for ur reply.

If the chances of allotment is high in BGR then I think I should put 70K in BGR. In Transformer if the chances of allotment is low then one should put full 1 lac.
218. kk |   Link |  Bookmark | December 10, 2007 9:40:45 AM
mahek,
full 1lac apply in bgr, and other 70 in tranfomer
Because in Bgr chance of allotment is very high
It is a big qty. issue.

Hi,

I have 1.7 lacs and wish to apply for BGR and Transformer.

Can anybody help me in deciding in what ratio should I apply in above two? This depends on chances of allotment.

Thanks
