I applied for 7 lots . can i know probabilites of getting allotment.

As per my calculations in BGR applicant of full lot i.e. 14x 14 lots = 196 shares, out of every 3 applicants 1 will get 14 shares.

Remaining all appicants with other lot size can do math on this basis.

next any importarnt ipo who having chance of gettiong
with rs 6000-7000

Who have applied full lot,may get chances of 14 shares sure!!!

I applied for 7 lots. Can any one of you tell me the probability of getting it. I am applying for first time in IPO.

those who have applied max lot in bgr, the ratio is 3 person will get 14 share out of 10 persons

INDIA INFOLINE service is very worst; I have been trying to transfer my amount from India Infoline but it getting rejected from 4th time and no one from CUSTOMER care is ready to respond to the issue, I am really fed-up, its my advice not to go for that account.

HOW IS INDIA INFOLINE'S SERVICES? I AM NOT SATISFIED AT ALL.

People should understand IPO Math that even if you apply for full lot in good ipo's , will get 1 lot ( that too with luck in such BGR case),suppose it lists with 100% gain,you are making profit of 6-7k on this.
Instead of that if you apply full lot in other less hyped IPO's and if you get min. 20% listing gain you are going to make 20k profit. I suggest do the calculation and apply in future IPO's.

CAN U THROW SOME LIGHT ON HOW SEBI DIFINES HNI & RETAIL
i.e WHO IN HNI and WHO IS RETAIL.THEN I CAN SUGGEST HOW TO RESOLVE THIS PROBLEM

Most probably they will give 7 shares to every one who have applied for the full lot(14), for rest I think they have just blocked there money.
Every thing in the hand of registrar now.Hope INTIME make everybody happy

I think there are still lot of fraudulent demat accounts opened by HNIs who are applying under the guise of retail investors. How else can you explain the retail portion getting oversubscribed by this much inspite of around 10 IPOs every month

Hi Friends there is no money left in IPO's to make,if this much of oversubscription happens then GOD helps the retailInvestor.

every1 will b taken into consideration but its just that ur chances of allotment will b lower.Its simple mathematics... u have bid for 168 shares. the retail portion has been oversubscribed 46.9 times so if every1 from ur category is 2 b alloted shares,each will get 3.58 shares(168/46.9) but the min. lot is 14 shares so out of every 3.91 people(14/3.58) 1 will be alloted 14 shares whereas for 1 lac application i.e. 196 shares each shud get 4.18 shares(196/46.9), i.e., out of 3.35 people(14/4.18) 1 will be alloted 14 shares.

Is that like people who applied for 14 lots will be taken into consideration for allotment or everyone will get this chance....

I have applied for 12 lots whats my chances of allotment

Please let me know the basis as am new to this
