I dont think subscription can go upto that times mark. Its HNI quota total money is almost same (that is ~8.5 cr) and oriana was subscribed 251 times only..with oriana sbfc finance mainboard ipo was there and with basilic ratanveer is there..so this will nullify the effect..though basilic is having more gmp..so maybe 300-350 times..but 700 is too much i guess..baaki exact jo number aayrga pata hi chalega.

If I remember correctly, Oriana clashed with another big size SME Vinsys(40cr or something)

size doesnt matter in any ipo...subscription matters..kisi bhi ipo ke size ka bahut faraq nhi padta hai...paisa kitna gaya usme hni ka..ye matter krta hai..for example..sbfc me total hni money ~7886 cr thi (2.67*57*51.82) aur ipo size 600 cr tha..jabki vishnu prakash me total hni money ~5095 cr thi (0.4635*99*111.03) aur ipo size 308 cr tha..jabki kaafi paisa aeroflex me blocked tha..
oriana me total hni money = 0.072*118*251.82 = ~ 2139 cr
vinsys me total hni money = 0.0556*128*105.75 = ~753 cr

agar hm mila bhi de dono ko to bhi 3000 cr nhi hua..ab maan lete hain ki basilic me 3000 cr bhi chala gaya poora ka poora..though ek hem ka ipo lined up 6-8 sep me..then maximum subscription will be = 3000/(0.08274*97) = ~374

to kisi bhi halat me subscription 400 cross nhi hone wala hai..350 bhi mushkil se hi hoga...aur sme walon ka kabhi mainboard pe zyada effect nhi padta hai and vice verca..donon alag game hain..aise to koi mainboard na ho to sme ka bhi 4000 cr bhi cross nhi hota..krishca ka gmp us time 120% chal rha tha..phir bhi total hni money was = 0.03624*54*786.89 =~1540 cr hi thi..koi mainboard nhi tha tab..halanki market sentiment bbi kam achcha tha isiliye 2500 cr nhi ja paaya..
kehne ka matlab sirf itna hai ki hone ko to kuch bhi ho sakta hai par current ipos me jitne paise lage hain..achanak se uska double nhi lag jayega..aur agar basilic 700 chhodo 550 cross kr de to i am gonna give anybody 10k..kisi ko open shart lagani ho 10k ki to aa sakta hai..satta bazar hi hai ye..ek satta mere sath bhi khel lo..

I was talking purely on perception of big and small IPO clashing.

kaka aur drone sath me aaye the..dono tagde ipos the..phir bhi donon ka milake 3000 cr cross nhi hua tha hni me..
kaka = 0.0522*58*431.85 = ~1307 cr
drone = 0.0945*65*243.85 = ~1498 cr
total ~2805 cr only.
jabki market sentiment abhi se better hi tha tab..conclusion yahi hai ki sme hni me ek time pe 3000 cr krna badi baat hai..3500-4000 cr to bahut hi badi baat hai..probable to nhi hai agle 4-6 dinon me..aur basilic me 550 bhi cross hone ke liye 4500 cr chahiye..700 cross hone ke liye 5500 cr plus.
I hope sabko maths samajh aayi hogi.

Considering CSP has already consumed ~ 1000 crore and HEM IPO may take another 1000 crore, funds available for Basillic should not be more than 200X.

Will be great if holds true. However day 1 show is too strong.

yes your arguments were reasonable..thats why subscription went 550x..though I didnt think of it crossing even 500 mark because of my calculation bias..but 700 was too much thats why I raised my concerns..I guess I got partially wrong..people poured ~4650 cr that is more than 2 times of oriana..but gmp was also 250-300% range which is unprecedented..accordingly it got subscribed with unprecedentedly figures..
personally I applied one 100 lots bid..lets see what happens.
