suppose i am using angel one as primary demat from past 3-4 years for ipo . and if i open a new demat today lets say in kite zerodha, Will my allotment chance increases , I highly doubt because i think there is quota for female applicants as well as for new investors ,
i have 8 different PAN accounts , one of my female family member hardly got any allotment , so i opened a new account for her in kite zerodha , and voila i got allotted in muthoot 1/8 , happy forgings 1/8 , and azad 1/8 .. from the very same female member which was earlier not getting allotment. So i highly doubt that new deemat matters ? maybe its a coincidence.. God knows what.

Any views on here

It's not related to zerodha or angel...Apply from multiple accounts and try..

This makes Nil allotment from the last 23 Kfintech managed oversubscribed IPOs that I had applied, all through 4 or 5 accounts.. (Including SME n Mainboard both), All Mainboard applications were BHNI and most SME were for 20 lots.

All my allotments in Mainboard have come from Link In time.....14/37 from Link in time (Main+SME)
Makes me wonder why my luck fails when Kfin is there.
Anyways congrats to the allottees....

For me it is linkintime. My first allotment was Tata Tech with linkintime that too in shareholders quota. No luck before or after that Ipo. I have applied many Ipos with linkintime, but never got any allotment. With Kfintech also ratio is bad but I got a few allotments.

I got 1 lot, first time with Kfintech. Now I am more nervous, nahi lagta toh shayad thik hota?

Bhai, not sure if there is jhol or not. I have been allotted for very first time in Kfintech in this year. I too used to think like you earlier, but ab kya bolu, mujhe allotment mil gaya hai; random luck or an opportunity given by kfintech to make some money

If account is dormant then shares will be credited to Dmat account or it should be in active condition to get shares credited.

Dormant account got share allotment sure .... I had got after need to activate for trading

My sincere suggestion to all new IPO aspirants is to hold this company shares for long run. Reduction of 15k in your ipo fund may not affect the upcoming IPO's allotment probability.

This could give some decent returns in the coming 2-3 years like MTAR, don't get satisfied & exit with the 7-8k profits on listing day.

Not a single allotment in last 8 main board IPO (Flair to Azad), even though applied from 5 accounts.

Please clear one thing if I apply 100 lot in bhni category when it is 90+ times over subscribed do I get 1 lot guaranteed?? Or it is changed now

No guarantee. Allotment is based on the lottery.

till now i have been allotted Aeroflex, cello, tata tech and happy. Link time has been registrar in all these 4 IPOs. no allotment till now in IPOs where Kfintech is registrar. Applying from 5 accouunts. Retail applications. Is it luck or something else? kindly clarify. Thank You!!!

Bhai, I think you should raise a complaint, then LINKINTIME will also stop giving allotment to you.

I applied 100 lots in Azad IPO.
BHNI was subscribed 93 times. So according to rules, I should have got 1 guaranteed lot right?
Still did not get any lot. Why?

It only lottery system.
It doesn't matter if you apply the minimum lots for BHNI or 1000 lots for BHNI, your chance remains the same.

In Main board IPO, allotment is through lottery. In SME IPO it is proportionate basis
