Now days ipo subscription very very High almost 50 lakh application and allotment chances almost nil even apply 10 retail application.

It will not rejected but no need to apply for more than 1 lot in case of oversubscription.

If less than 5x, then definitely more than 3 lakh, but again it will depend upon subscription, proportional will be alloted.

10 lakh allocation if subscribed by 1x.

It mean then there is no diffrent in applying for SHNI and BHNI b'coz in both cases u will get max 2 lac shares in over subscibed ipo correct me if i am wrong or chances of allotment increases in BHNI.

I am aslo in a confusion in Azad, In one of my account I applied in retail in groww but due to some problem i cancel that application from Groww on 21 dec and re apply today in same retail category now my both of my fund is blocked
so will my application get rejected and when i will receive my fund of that cancel application

Please Help me to understand this scenario

Yes i have cancel the first application then i re applied because in groww we can apply only one application under retail . so i have cancel yesterday and applied today @Basuvr

I haven't received any allotment since last 1 year towards any oversubscribed mainline ipo. Changed my bidding strategy for Azad. Will it help?

Allotment does not work like this. You have unnecessarily blocked funds. Only the highest bid of 524 will be considered for allotment. Others bids will be not considered for allotment process at all.

Use more accounts then only you get better allotment , don't repeat make such stupid mistake for applying between price band . Only upper price band .

After successfully accepting mandate, by mistakenly i have cancelled the application in Groww app. But i have received a msg from NSE that it was submitted successfully though Payment is not blocked in my bank account. Kindly help me understand the situation.

I know nowthese days these kinda question are frequent on the blog and might irritate some experienced players. But i couldn't find the solution in previous comments. Pardon for inconvenience

Your application will not treated in lottery…means invalid application.

Your application will be rejected.
And this will be not eligible for allotment.

Next time, while applying IPO, be alert.
Another mistake many times happen is, normal people apply in employee/ shareholders category.

Broker #1: Applied HNI, GPAY UPI mandate not accepted due to insufficient fund ( Motison mandate revoked very late)

Broker #2: Applied Retail and GPAY UPI mandate accepted.

I got SMS from NSE that both application received.

Will both my application get rejected?

My plan is to apply HNI, I have only 1 PAN. Due to insufficient fund, I applied retail in broker #2.

Did you attempt to accept the first mandate and now is the funds blocked?

If both funds are blocked mostly both application will be rejected. Try sending mail to registar with details and request to reject one application.

If you rejected first mandate and accepted second then the 2nd application will be accepted.

Plese let me know my trading and dmat is with upstox and i have applied from kotak ASBA (added my Dmat no. As beneficiary) after allotment the alloted shares automatically gets credited in upstox or i have to do some thing to show them in my upstox ??

Looks like newbie investors went back after small jerk in market and IPO GMP.

applied today with pnb asba but funds not blocked till yet..pl guide..

DOMS and Inox both subscribed for more then 8k crores in the BHNI category.
While even after so much hype, Azad struggling to cross 7k crore in the BHNI.
Inox listing definitely had some impact. There could be various other reasons.

It's more to do with sentiments when market is uncertain. Tata tech Doms and Motisons etc were.popular category of shares with general public too . With market becoming volatile and people seen the GMP moving down it will have short term impact which is in a way good for gullible investors who tends to blindly follow the IPOs based on prevailing GMP .
