OT :) is there a way around to not have to authorise holding everyday (a/c. with discount broker)

@Ascension Prior to year 2022, there used to be provision for furnishing Power of Attorney (POA) to broker which is replaced by DDPI and is made optional. However, in place of giving such an authority to the broker, it is best to authorise yourself at the beginning of the day. For all the accounts of self and family I maintain, have kept identical PIN for CDSL authorisation in both Zerodha and Upstox. It is just one time activity applicable for whole day. I am more comfortable with this rather than giving away powers to the broker. Though, in ICICI Direct, there is no such authorisation requirement.

Dear
I have done it with Zerodha and Groww. Zeodha Charges Rs. 118.0 and Groww dose it Free of Cost.
In Zerodha, the process will be completed in 1-2 Days. But Groww can take 4-5 Days.

Anchor book and initial sub response is good . Should provide gains ideally as of now, but listing is far, anything can happen & GMP can go either ways by then.

Since last 21 trading session, FIIS are continuesly selling in Indian Stock market. They have sold more than 38K crore and Indian mutual funds & others have bought more than 60K crore therefore the index remains mostly at same level. Vix India is 21.47 .

FIIS haven't sold so aggressively in the past. They are considered to be smart enough. They must have some important news which we don't know at present. BTW the FIIS have nothing to do with Indian Election. They will come again in the market when they feel comfortable with it. They don't want to book loss in case of any adverse results. Perhaps they might be thinking INDIA 🇮🇳 Shining story of 2004. But all these don't mean that One may sell his stock presently. One may have to read between the lines.
Let's see the big event of Democracy on 4th June. Entertainment, entertainment full excitement and enjoy it without any bias mindset.

@abc xyz For long term investors, these inflows and outflows of funds are of little or no relevance, going by past experience. If one is able to gauge a bigger picture, so called events like elections are no-events. Election is no-event, Budget is no-event ... than what exactly is event. India is event and it's growth story is event. Those who believe in this, keep their participation intact and remain invested will surely reap phenomenal rewards !

In last couple of years, Indian Small investors have outsmarted FII's. No need to be concerned about FII selling. We Indians are more confident about India story and our election results. Odds are in favor of Bulls in near as well as long term!! My view!!!

Explain these retailers that Friday is holiday and ipo closing on Monday. Sab Paisa aaj hi laga denge. My expectations in retail is between 70 - 80x based on Indegene, TBO n aadhaar.

Can't compare 600 cr vs 2600 cr.
Very Big funds (pension funds, etc) invest Big way and when they do that they also look at the size of the company or market float (liquidity).

May apply full force with all 30 demats.

- Solid anchor book
- Co-working space is the future for professionals and small companies with plug and play model
- Have personally seen Awfis' offices in Bangalore and Mumbai. Check the ratings on Google. Employees like working there.
- Company has incurred losses but that has been due to fast growth across multiple cities

- Cash positive in expected by next fiscal year
- Those with work from home narrative - offlate most companies have made it hybrid model with 2-3 days mandatory work from office.. even smaller companies. So Hybrid seems to be the future.

Some issues I have with the IPO:
- Valuation - to my comfort zone is a bit expensive especially considering the price at which shares have been issued in last 1 year.
- The MA model is good but comes with its own risk especially if the center doesn't work out for the clients

- Litigation against the Promoter, company. Based on the model company is working, in my humble opinion more litigations may come in future.

Will look into QIBs subscription on last day with regards to full force. As of now will surely be applying few BHNIs.

Have been reading many messages on loss making and being greedy..

People are surely entitled to gave their opinions.. and rightly so given we have seen many startups failing..

But most startups are valued not on their present profitability but on future profitability and cash flows..

The traditional way of doing business was moving slowly year on year with new factories, offices, etc.

The startup way is growing fast by burning cash in lieu of profits.. If it business model is good.. it does work out.. We have seen many startups succeed in last 1 year itself..

It depands on one's risk appetite.. there are retailers who are investing in 25k to 1 lakh as angel investors in small startups also through various ways..

Those who are risk averse should stay away.. those who believe in the concept are happy taking risks.. 😊

Classic example of GREED..

iss IPO mein OFS -ve
fundamentals -ve
post PE ratio -ve
market sentiments before election -VE

only positive thing is GMP ,

This IPO may be a trap for retailers.
I am avoiding this IPO
Be FEARFUL , when others are GREEDY.

Even if retail investors are greedy, most of them will not get any allotment.

The selling shareholders are VC funds, so OFS is not really that big of a deal. The company is generating positive free cash flow and the main purpose of the listing seems to be to provide partial exit/ liquidity to the financial investors. The valuation looks a bit expensive looking backwards, but the numbers are stronger than I would have expected.

For me, the main concerns are strength/moat of the competitive position, client/ employee / workspace partner churn, and corporate governance issues (Rana Kapoor connection). There have been well-advertised failures of this business model in other countries (WeWork, Regus) and I am not yet convinced that the past growth rate can be sustained. If it can be, the stock is a buy.

Given the high expected subscription, I will probably apply FF and think about whether to hold or not only in case I get any allotment.

One should not miss the point that retail allocation is only 10%.
And also this is not a aadhaar/TBO/Indegene kind of 1600+ crore IPO.
It is 600 crore IPO with 60 crore for retail.

So retail subscription at this point seems very normal. Early to jump the gun.
