In my view lotteries are prohibited when you make a payment to buy lottery ticket. In other words lottery company or agency is getting some money from those who don't won the lottery.Company which comes up with IPO doesn't get any money from non allottees. Housing development authorities also allot flats through lottery. Many such things are done through lottery but these things can not be banned because these are necessary for development of the Country. When demand for IPO shares is more than offer lottery is the only option. If a company offers 10 lakh shares and there are 11 lakh applicants then lottery is the only option. If a housing development authority has built 5000 flats and there are 5 lakh willing buyers then lottery is the only option. First come first served will create chaos

Dear Members, Pls suggest what to do with Aadhar right now? Anyone holding it since IPO? I was looking to hold it for atleast 2 years but since this is consistently falling even though the markets are going up.. Please suggest what should be done here .. Is it good enough to hold for long term .. I have done a similar mistake by selling HAL and Zomato IPO due to fear and still sobbing but is Aadhar similar to those ??

​@DGGuj The high price you see are just bids to influence the equilibrium price, which disappear around 9:44 AM..

Keep on watching the price in pre open until 9:35 AM and put your sell order few % below that. If your price is below the equilibrium price, your shares will be sold at equilibrium price..

You can place order during pre open by putting limit order at your desired price if equilibrium price settle above your bidded price than your order will be executed at equilibrium price that's the reason you see so many order at LC as they want to sell at any open price however people who wants to buy at any level put order at UC both order get executed at equilibrium price.
However if allotted person puts order at LC then equilibrium price gets impacted and listing will be lower so is the reason everyone here recommends to put price near to GMP or the price which you think should be.

I am small retial trader. Currently my portfolio is mixed of both PSU and other. But by seeing the market the fii are selling and the market is climbing like anything. And my portfolio is raising but i dont want to sell due to fear of loosing the profits it because the shares which i have bought is at good price. So what percentage the market will fall after the election? If it falls slightly then i may loose the profits and the shares which haven’t raised during this festival also falls in the name of correction. Problems of small retailers.

​@TRK FIIs will sell, they will come back and buy. Election is also no event so to say. It is normal for markets to have fluctuations as per sentiments, but it is all temporary. Permanent event is India and its Growth Story. Just a humble suggestion to think over it and keep your conviction strong. Big rewards can surely be expected by those who will stay invested.

Strange🤔 but this is the beauty of stock market. Sensex up 1200 points and GMP is just above 5 rs. till now from yesterday closing price to 127 from 122 but if market crashed 1200 points then GMP may become a falling knife. What a irony 😂🤔 Bade Dhoke hai Bade dhoke hai is raah mein😂😂

Normally IPO close date is 3rd day, 24th May Friday in this case. BUt the close date is 27th. May Monday ie. 4th day in this case. What could be the reason??

​@Dhiraj Ramchandani Sir, you may be aware that some people still do submission of application form physically at the bank branch. If it is bank holiday on a particular day, you can not take away this privilege. So, if it is bank holiday, for IPO application submission, it is off day. 🙏🙏

Agreed and that is why I said, this is kind of loss of additional day because of operational/process issues. It will take some more time to become 100% Digital India, we are progressing well in that direction, bass thode kadam aur.

Because in BSE it was listed at that price 286 was in nse

Hello everyone, please tell me which has a better chance of allotment? Apply 1 lot in SNII or 1 lot in retail?
The allotment method is a little different in SNII, so I am not sure if chances are higher in retail or SNII for this IPO

Just take a look at the oversubscribtion on last day few hours and decide..as of now, nobody can say for sure which has better chance of allotment..
